"Opera y Flamenco. A Love Story"
Opera y Flamenco tells the tormented love story of the dancers interpreted by their own souls, the soprano and the tenor. Sensual choreographies alternate with opera’s most famous arias (“Il Trovatore” by Giuseppe Verdi, “Carmen” by G. Bizet, “Tosca” by Puccini, “La Bohème” by G. Puccini...) in a mixture of great artistic beauty between flamenco and outstanding lyric songs.
The Palau de la Música Catalana is considered by many to be one of most beautiful concert halls in the world. The work of architect Lluís Domènech i Montaner, the theatre is also one of the best examples of the modernista style in Catalan architecture. The theatre also includes a professional quality, state of the art stage and sound system. Tickets to Opera y Flamenco are available in three categories: VIP area (stalls), Category A (first floor) and Category B (second floor).
