About the Show
"Opera y Flamenco. A Love Story"
Opera y Flamenco tells the tormented love story of the dancers interpreted by their own souls, the soprano and the tenor. Sensual choreographies alternate with opera’s most famous arias (“Il Trovatore” by Giuseppe Verdi, “Carmen” by G. Bizet, “Tosca” by Puccini, “La Bohème” by G. Puccini...) in a mixture of great artistic beauty between flamenco and outstanding lyric songs.
The Teatro Poliorama is located at the end of Las Ramblas in Barcelona, a focal point for visitors and locals looking to soak up the atmosphere of the city. The 18th century theatre was constructed within the Academy of Arts & Sciences and has been extensively renovated over the years, offering a truly unique space to experience a flamenco show. The theatre hosts the flamenco show: "Opera & Flamenco".
