While in Granada don't miss the opportunity to witness an authentic flamenco show. It's a truly unforgettable experience full of emotion.

This was an intimate and moving experience. It's hard to explain, but it felt like we were briefly invited into the lives of the performers. It's a bit of a huff from the center of town, but we enjoyed the walk.

What an amazing, powerful, and beautiful performance! My husband and I really enjoyed the show. Their house red wine was also very nice. We highly recommend! Also, just a tip - be sure to arrive early so you can get a good seat right by the front.

This Zambia Maria was started by Estella daughter of a famous Flamenco 💃dancer she wanted to maintain and carry forward the legacy of this beautiful art. She herself is a great singer and now her daughter Lorena fires up the stage with her moves and energy. Capacity here is for 54 people and it was fully booked. We booked in advance. Also try and reach the venue early to get good seats. 1 hour in cave beautifully decorated and folk Spanish music and amazing dance. What else one wants. Carolina,Antonio, Carolina Josele de la rosa and one more singer OH MY GOD it was stellar. Outstanding

highly recommended experience! The amount of passion and beauty that these dancers had was incredible to see. We were all left in awe. The cave is insanely interesting and decorated extremely beautifully. Your ticket comes with one free drink. I had this sangria and it was really good. It’s their specialty. I would highly recommend reserving in advance you can send a message on WhatsApp and they will reserve your spot. Just a reminder that it is cash only so don’t forget to bring your cash!! The earlier you get through the better seats, you will have, but we were the last to get there and since they weren’t full, we had pretty good seats.

Edit: I’ve been accused of lying so I wanted to add a video. They have removed the toilet signs but you can see where the toilets are and where the bus stop is. Also, running after someone from across the patio into the toilet shouting at them is not simply telling them that “toilets are for exclusive use of customers.” We actually saw two flamenco shows in two other places and absolutely loved them. We were walking past this flamenco theatre deciding if we should visit. The road is famous for its flamenco shows and restaurants and we were walking past with the intention of picking somewhere. I will not be paying them a penny after a rude staff member shouted at my husband from across the large and busy front patio, running after him into the toilet to tell him to get out because he didn’t have a ticket for the show. Bear in mind the toilets are outdoors, next to a bus stop and no sign to say they’re for customers only. For context, we’re on our honeymoon. My husband is a musician and loves flamenco style guitar. It’s been our dream to come here and watch a show. Making all that effort to ensure someone doesn’t use your toilet is quite shocking and inhumane. If they reply to this review justifying their rude reaction it will tell you all you need to know.

Loved this show. I'm sure there's plenty of great places to see flamenco but we were so happy we picked this one. The performers were clearly enjoying themselves and were so encouraging and supportive of each other. The cave is a unique venue. Highly recommend.

Outstanding artists in a traditional cave. One of the best traditional flamenco shows in Granada. No amplification or special effects needed. Just pure artistry. Arrive early to get close up seats.

Phenomenal show! I was captivated the entire time. Wow. Would absoloutely recommend. Get there about 30 minutes early if you want a good seat. I ordered my tickets by texting them on WahstApp, they were very responsive and quick. Bonus points for the cute taverna cats :)

From beginning to end, it felt like we were welcomed into a loved one's home. The staff were so inviting and welcoming, the performers also interacted with the audience in an equally welcoming and down to earth way. The performance itself was nothing short of phenomenal!! Each and every dancer and musician were incredibly talented, and a mesmerizing to watch/listen to. Highly recommend and I hope to be back the next time we visit Granada!`

#AVOID! Despite having booking and email confirmation that the show was happening, we showed up and the place was closed. No warning, no apology. Fortunately there are other good places in area.

We booked on the day and were lucky to get in. What an amazing show and experience. We have been to many Flamenco shows around Spain in theaters but this was a very different intimate experience not to be missed. Bravo to the talented performers!

A very close look to what Flamenco looks and feels like for those who live it. This unique experience feels like joining a family reunion where music, dance, laugh and some drinks take you back to an era where no stage was needed to enjoy this beautiful art form. Awesome.

This was so, so impactful. To be right in front of the dancers made the experience so much more powerful because you feel every tap, clap, swish. The space is set up in a way that you are part of the circle, there is no stage, so it feels intimate and it envolves you. Get there early to get a good seat — I was very lucky to get the best seat in the house, right in front of the performers.

What an amazing show! We felt like we were part of a wedding. The dancers were passionate and talented and it felt like the lady who was singing, kept everything together with her overriding talent. Can’t recommend enough.

The settings is a man-made cave not a real cave It gets a little stuffy with all the people in the room. it would be helpful if you knew a little about flamingo history prior to going as everything is in Spanish. You are offered to drink of wine, sangria, or beer or soft drink upon entering and being seated. The music and dancing is extraordinary but again would have more meaning you knew.

January the 12th 2024: Do not rely on reservations here. Despite confirming the performance via email, the venue was closed. Disrespectful treatment of people, waste of time. A little respect for the audience wouldn't hurt. Fortunately, there are plenty of other places in the area where you can watch great flamenco. We managed to catch a show at another cueva. Zambra María la Canastera - definitely not recommended.

Go somewhere with an actual stage instead of a cave like place like this. They fill this place to an extreme. If you’re not there at least 30 minutes ahead to grab a front seat then your view is mostly blocked. There’s no ventilation and the place starts to smell horrible very quickly. It was 60-70% bad singing and guitar playing. Hardly got to see dancing.

Wasn't really sure what to expect. The Flamenco dancers were so amazing. The songs they group sang while the dancers performed were emotional and intriguing. I would see this performed again and again. It was very cozy. The Sangria was definitely the best I had while in Spain.

Don’t expect a warm welcome if you’re early. The music, singing and flamenco though are absolutely mind blowing. Their energy and passion and expressions just cannot be replicated. It’s like it courses through their DNA….. the rapport they have among themselves as artists is so unique…. There is nothing formulaic about their art…. Whether it’s your first or hundredth time you will still be absolutely mesmerised. It has to be seen to understand the experience of seeing this particular flamenco up close. It’s a small intimate space and appears to sell out so best to book early. The C32 bus stops outside which is so handy but it’s also not a long walk back to the main area. It’s the only one locals recommend as I asked around before booking and I truly was happy that I did.

Wow! What an incredible performance and evening. Definitely one of the highlights of Granada. The performers show so much passion and love for flamenco that it becomes contagious. Absolutely worth it!

It was a fantastic show in a beautiful and intimate cave. We did think it was a trap. We felt it was very original and the singer and dancers very competent. If it was a touristic trap, the artists would be explaining things in other languages that not Spanish. Everybody that didn't understand Spanish didn't get the jokes and explanations. We highly recommend the show if you wanna fully experience a flamenco show and support local artists.

I love Flamenco 💃🏽 and this is not the first show I have seen. This Zambra was well organised and on time. It’s has the local flow you will imagine in Granada. If any anything I would change the drinks: terrible wine and Sangria, it comes with the show but I’m sure people will pay for a good wine while the heart beats at the sound of Flamenco…

There are lots of Flamenco shows, and I expect they are all great, but for me this was the one to see and it delivered. To me the Zambra style is the most enthralling, and it was an intoxicating experience. For me it was the highlight of my visit to Spain. Totally recommended

Great experience of flamenco music and dancing. Seemed authentic although touristy. My son who is a musician was impressed with the quality of the music. Cave is quaint, small and every seat was taken and some chairs were uncomfortable. All part of the experience. Glass of sangria was very good. After the show, we walked downhill back to town and most of the walk offered stunning nighttime views of the Alhambra.

Great energy of the singer and dancers. It was a great experience. Only issue is there is not taxis on the way back so had to wait for the bus (stop just opposite) and the bus does not stop so you have to almost block it’s way for it to stop.

It was awesome. A must go. The place is clean and large enough to hold 50 people. But you will be rubbing shoulders against those next to you. So be ready to get cosy and make new friends. And…For god sakes, spray some deo/perfume on and take some for the one sitting next to you. For health reasons, best to spray everyone. The performance was amazing. It was either their energy and passion or it had to do with my presence there. I have my money on their being passionate about their work. The one hour will go by pretty quickly. Sneak in a picture or two. Do not video the performance. Downright disrespectful. Other logistics: forget about taking the bus or the taxi. From the main square, it is about a 12 minute walk. Take it. Get there early. Don’t be over smart with your drinks order. Get the beer or sangria or a bottle of water. Don’t fuss. You probably won’t get your drink. When the performance is done, you are expected to leave, so go home And don’t get comfortable. People have lives to lead you lazy slob. Anyway, enjoy!!!

Our hotel recommended this flamenco show, and we're glad they did. It is located in a cave, and you are seated around the performance floor, which makes for a very intimate feeling. A wonderful experience.

When in Granada do come for this unique experience. Be mesmerised by the passionate performance of the professional dancers, singer & guitarist. It is a little cramped in a ‘cave house’ fitting 50+ people but I guess that is the whole experience. We made our reservation on the same day via email and got a confirmation. Paid cash at entrance - 24€ for show + a drink. Located in the hills of Sacramento, it is an easy 20 min slow walk from city uphill. Take the bus 34 which is right outside the venue back to city center as it is difficult to get a taxi back. Highly recommend!

The show last night will be a highlight of our summer! The artists sang and danced and played with skill and passion. It was an incredible show.

What a dissapointment was this flamenco show. The dancers were rude, their performance was passionless and they looked like they just wanted the show to end. The guitar and singer were good but their interventions were way to long. The guy in charge was annoyed when I requested a taxi. Started to shut down the place and I was waiting for them to call the taxi. There has to be much better options in Granada than this venue. Dont throw your money away, go somewhere else. Anywhere will be better.
