Valencia, the third largest city in Spain, is situated along the Mediterranean Sea in the Costa del Azahar. The city is a popular destination for visitors due to its coastal setting and cultural offerings. Some of the most well known monuments in the city include the Cathedral, the Torres de Serranos, the Torres de Quart, and the Llotja de la Seda. The City of Arts and Sciences is a modern addition: designed by Santiago Calatrava and Félix Candela, it is a symbol of modern Valencia. The city is also famous for its cuisine and is home to the traditonal dish Paella.
