Bankia Flamenco Festival

The Bankia Flamenco Festival is held during the month of September in several different venues in the city, such as La Casa Encendida, Teatro Circo Price and the Teatro Canal de la Comunidad de Madrid.  Formerly sponsored by Caja Madrid, in 2012 Bankia has taken over the duties but left the organization of the event intact.  The festival has been running over twenty years bringing some of the best musicians, dancers and singers together in one of the most popular flamenco events in Madrid.  Conferences, round tables and book signings are also often part of the event.
