Flamenco Casa Ábaco

We enjoyed the show — the dancers and the guitar were great and much better than we expected. But the venue itself is not a good choice — it’s very hard to see anything unless you are in the first row. Another point is the volume — it was horribly loud, especially when it was not live music but a recording. I honestly thought about leaving. Also, although they sell tickets for kids, it’s not kid-friendly. Children are sitting behind 10+ rows of adults and naturally cannot see anything. I highly recommend the show, but I wouldn’t visit this venue again.

Visited flamenco show. Staff at the venue was amazing. Building itself really charming. But the actual venue for show was not suitable for its purpose. All the chairs were at same level. We were at row five and could not see properly. How about the others on row 20? Seeing the flamenco dance and the intensive stepping is the most fascinating part of the show. In that venue it’s only possible at row one. Pricey for the value.

⚠️⚠️⚠️Danger!!! Don’t bring your kids!! Flamenco was a disaster! Volume is violently high, we felt like we were about to bleed from our ears. A kid of only ~8-9 years was almost crying in the audience from the noise. It felt like a physical assault. It is the organiser’s responsibility to ensure the safety of the audience by adhering to noise regulation and abiding by the law. The performers were excellent, no complaint about them! When we tried to ask the organiser lady to turn down the volume a bit during the break, or alternatively sell us earplugs, we were met with a grin and ”there is nothing I can do about it” and a damned smile. Abhorrent disrespect of customers’ health! Most of the audience was 60+ and weren’t understandably as bothered by the noise than younger customers.

Visited here for the flamenco show. The show was superb in a very small and intimate setting with great dancers and musicians a wonderful experience. Tito's bar and restaurants which are connected to this great place also serve amazing food, drinks and cocktails. Although a bit pricey the chilled setting is beautiful.

I just came because of the flamenco show and I was pretty surprised by the beautiful interior. The cocktail I had was amazing and the Flamenco show so far one of the highlight of my vacation!

Very nice historic house with unique events and now even the best restaurant in Puerto de la cruz!

Was there in the evening for the Flamenco show. From the bits of the museum that I saw, I wasn't impressed. Part of it was being refurbished though.

Thursday evening flamenco show superb

We went for the flamenco show. It was so spectacular and entertaining. Not the classical flamenco as it is combined with spanish ballet but still so good. They had more costumes during the show. It is worth noting that there is no live music but still worth it.

Interesting and cosy place. Visited a very nice flamenco show. Impressive with a great packaging/house.

Wonderful setting, but the service was terrible. Really bad waiter. Only one, by the looks of it. Spent his time whistling to the music, watching stuff on his phone with the sound on... I could go on! The setting, though, is lovely.

Old Spanish house hosts a flamenco show. We had a good night with sangria and an entertaining show. The dancers changed so many costumes, including hair pieces and earrings so fast... It was incredible. It was a nice surprise that they also sang a little. Overall, I recommend it.

Today there was a flamenco show which we had reservations to and was totally overbooked. On Tuesday we stopped by and made reservations to ensure we had our seats reserved for the show, however, today we were rudely pushed by a group while standing at the door to enter. The worst part was the staffed saw the incident and proceeded to allow them to be seated before us. We decided to leave because it was very unprofessional for such a “prestige” so called establishment. It is totally unacceptable that you plan a show, oversell the reservations, and than allow a group of people to be hostile to other guest and allow them to stay. Be aware prior to your decision to come see this house as you might be pushed and treated as if you weren’t a value customer. To the staff and owenership; your unprofessionalism is totally uncalled for as this could have been a situation in which we could have reacted in a way which could have caused a seen. You get one star because I can’t give you 0!!!

Good flamenco / fashion show and the venue is wonderful, with a very interesting museum - the food and cocktails are great too but the place could with a little more atmosphere, that is somewhat lacking!
