What an unforgettable experience! This was our very first flamenco show, and Cardamomo Tablao Flamenco couldn’t have been a better introduction to this incredible art form. The venue is absolutely beautiful and creates the perfect atmosphere from the moment you walk in. The live musicians were exceptional, and the two dancers, along with the male flamenco performer, delivered a breathtaking performance. Their passion, talent, and emotion took the entire show to another level. One of the highlights of our trip to Madrid. We left with an even greater appreciation for flamenco and would highly recommend this experience to anyone looking for an authentic and unforgettable evening.

Great experience, the ticket was €40 and we were placed in second row (the ticket includes a courtesy drink). The show featured three great performers: two women and 1 man. They each had amazing solos. It’s a very private and cozy ambiance, definitely recommend.

A Soulful and Technical Masterpiece, Though at a Premium Price I attended the Flamenco show here yesterday, and it was a journey through deep emotions and impressive artistry. Here is my balanced take: • The Artistry (The "Duende"): The performers were incredible. You could feel their hearts in every movement—it was all there in their facial expressions and intense gazes. The technical skill was top-notch; the footwork (zapateado) was sharp, the rhythm was flawless, and the synergy between the dancers, singers, and guitarist was seamless. The shouting of "Olé!" and the rhythmic clapping (palmas) created an electrifying atmosphere. • The Atmosphere: The venue is cozy and intimate. Because it’s a premium-priced show, the crowd is limited, which preserves a sense of privacy and allows you to truly feel the passion and effort of the artists from just a few feet away. • Food & Drinks: I had the platter with Jamón, cheese, and bread. The bread was crispy and fresh. However, the Jamón and cheese were a bit too salty for my personal palate, though still of good quality. • Value: While the performance was world-class, the ticket price is quite high. Compared to the overall value received, I felt the pricing was a bit steep, even considering the exclusivity. Summary: If you want to see Flamenco performed with true soul and precision in an intimate setting, this is the place. Just be prepared for the premium price tag.

This place was super close to our hotel and was very authentic. In a small theater type room they had rows which were elevated,had a bar top table for each and tablet to show what the next program was about or to order a drink. The shows erected amazing with live music and multiple types of flamenco telling us about the dancer and type of flamenco before each performance. You can choose tickets online for different priced seats. Entry included a free drink beer wine (white or red sangria ) or non alcoholic drink. Well worth the money .

If you are looking for traditional Flamenco dancing, I am not sure this is the place. Tap dancing with no expression of struggle, freedom, or love. We were expecting a form of emotional storytelling, and we were left disappointed. Not to mention the whinging pom behind us who, after asking me to stop using my phone to capture some of what we were expecting to be memorable moments, and then continued to kick the back of my seat for the remainder of an underwhelming performance, I would not recommend spending your money here. I am certain there are much better performances on show in Madrid.

I loved the show. The singers, musicians but especially the dancers, were amazing. Very well organized setting with great visibility. I liked that my entrance included a drink. I enjoyed the show very much.

Easy online reservations. I did see people get seats just by walking in too. Ticket includes one drink. The show lasts about an hour and started on time. I got a seat in the middle and still had a good view as the stage is elevated. There were 3 dancers, the male dancer Jose Escarpin was fantastic. The 2 female dancers were technically strong but I felt their performances were a bit less inspired. The musicians were great, but they use a microphone for the singers and sometimes the sound quality is not the best. The lighting also kept coming in and out oddly. I watch flamenco frequently and this venue is lovely but they let audience members come late (like 30 mins late). So multiple times I couldn't see because people were walking in and out, ordering drinks loudly. I think it was disruptive for the performers as well. I ordered a tapa of tortilla which was good, but the server was trying to get me to pay while the performers were on stage. I wanted to wait until there was a break, so I could focus on the show and not fish out cash from my wallet but my server made me feel a bit rushed to settle the bill. The audience seemed to be mostly tourists who don't know flamenco. Nothing wrong with that but just to be aware. The performance is authentic but the audience doesn't really give jaleos or anything. I did appreciate there are signs in the lobby and info in a tablet at each table to explain the history of the tablao and different characteristics of flamenco and each palo. I like that they are trying to educate the audience and hopefully create more flamenco aficianoados.

The review is based on one visit in March 2025. For 45€, we found the show completely underwhelming. The performers were out of sync, looking distractedly at each other with no real energy or passion. Two guitars produced half the sound of one. The sound system made an echoing effect as it had a slight delay. Overall, I would pay perhaps 10€ to see it and still not like it.

Although we bought the ticket as VIP, they reserved the seats for the corner of the stage, and the artists do not even look towards that side (the narrow corner, the viewing area is L-shaped and the stage is right next to it), you have to watch it by lifting your head up, it is a 9m2 stage, all the dust gets into your drink as the artists' feet tap during the show. I never recommend it!!!!

We loved Cardamomo. They sell reasonably priced ticket and food packages. Great show. Passionate singing and dancing. A great night if you are a tourist or a local. I feel like a got great value.

Absolutely powerful beautiful and a great experience if you’re in Madrid for a short time. The show tix start you off with a drink and the show is about an hour long.

Very lovely show with an intimate atmosphere. The performers were extremely talented and the staff was very friendly. I got help from Celeste in booking my experience and couldn’t have been happier with the ease with which she was able to find me and my family the perfect seats for the show.

This was one of our favorite cultural experiences when visiting Spain. The dancers and musicians were amazing. The little interactions between the musicians added a lot of thoughtful detail to the show. Drinks were reasonably priced and service was 10 out of 10. Be aware- it is all in Spanish. The general atmosphere and outstanding performance more than made up for not understanding the story.

Our second visit to the Cardamomo flamenco show was just as thrilling as the first! This time, we brought our kids along, and they were absolutely mesmerized by the performances. Cardamomo’s atmosphere is very welcoming, making it a perfect date night or family outing. The intimate setting allows for an up-close and personal experience with the talented dancers and musicians. If you're visiting Madrid, Cardamomo is a must-see for an authentic and captivating flamenco experience!

Overall, fun show. Doing more research afterwards, I felt that this was too much focused on tapping vs other elements that go into flamenco. Highly recommend at least checking one show out, if you’re in Madrid.

The Cardamomo show was simple but enjoyable. It lasts around one hour, and while the space is a bit tight, it's not uncomfortable. I haven't attended other Cardamomo shows to compare, but from my research, there are many different performances. I don't think this was the best of the best, but it was the closest to my hotel. Oh, and by the way, the show I attended included a welcome drink, which was a nice touch.

I've seen flamenco in theater many times but this is nothing like it. The experience is intense, intimate and amazing. The performance is really outstanding. I love everything about it and think everyone should experience it at least once.

It's OK, if you want to find out what flamenco is. But that was it - informative and touristy. I've been to a few around Spain and every time I left with my soul full of emotion. Not this time. It feels rushed and like a conveyor belt.

Quality place, but feels quite touristical, 1h for a show is quite short. While good artists are performing there, they are not a band and it feels like the show is lacking continuity and genuine complicity between the artists. The simple fact that light stays on during performances tells me that it matters more for the place to have customers eating and drinking than enjoying the show.

We had a wonderful time. The venue is small but efficient! This was our first introduction to flamenco and it was great - the dancers and musicians are all very talented and skilled and the sixty minutes went by in a flash! The tapas were okay - for 30€ for two maybe better to pick up something at a restaurant afterwards. Still, we had a good time!

We saw an AMAZING show featuring El Yiyo which was a real treat. The ladies’ dances were spectacular too - one of them danced ballet-flamenco which I had never seen before and I loved! The cheese, ham and other Spanish delicacies were delicious too. I believe now the building has been refurbished inside so I can’t wait to go back, soon I hope!

Lovely experience!! It is a small and intimate venue so there is no bad seat, but we were glad we paid a little bit more to be closer up front. Dancers were great, very fiery and passionate performances! The hour flew by.

Passionate and talented. Could not have better things to say about the performance. I booked roughly 2 hours before the show and received an email saying the venue was changes to down the street due to technical reasons so be on the lookout for that.

It was my first time seeing flamenco, so I am very happy I did it, but the show is just not worth 45€/person. Okay, they had one drink included in the price, but still. The artists (singers and dancers) were great, but honestly, I did expect something more for that amount of money.

The show itself was good and authentic. Was able to compare with Flamenco 1911 Villa Rosa, both were good; where you sit makes all the difference: Sit as close to the stage as possible, and only in the front section, the side ones I do not recommend.

Very nice old theater right in the centre at plaza mayor. Enjoyable experience.

I’ve been to a few Tablaos and this one was really great. Nice stacked seating for the people seating in the back so there is no bad seat in the house. The sangria was a bit too sweet for my preference. Musicians and performers were incredible. Great artists I suggest this place!

The venue was cosy and nice. 1 drink Included in the price but in all honesty it wasn't that good (sangria & red wine). Bit expensive for the show I found but great experience still and very good music and dancing.

My first flamenco show and I liked it! The only thing is that they said 90 minutes but was about 80 minutes plus a few minutes between songs. If you find a two hour option, take it. This was my seat view from the cheapest ticket seats. In my opinion was ok for the price. Two drinks included.

A wonderful display of Flamenco. We loved the intimate setting and the enthusiasm of the performers. I’d recommend getting the “A” tickets so you can sit close to the performers.

Excellent experience. The place was cozy, intimate, just lovely. Music was great, the dancers were incredible. We definitely enjoyed going here with our family. It is loud in there so not great for very young kiddos.

I've been in an authentic tablao before and this was very disappointing. It's all marketing and choreography, if you want to see authentic flamenco this is not the option. First they don't explain anything about the flamenco ,so for people that go for the first time you don't even know or learn anything about it. In the place there is microphone and speakers which don't even let you listen to the original instruments of flamenco( claps, zapateado, Cajon, etc) which in an authentic cave there is no need for all that because it's way better when its natural in a cave with the natural eco. They also don't tell any rules about clapping or pictures with flash etc , so people trying to match the claps is ridiculous. That's why they are professionals , we love it I understand but I want to hear them not you trying to match it. The waiter is always going to the chairs to serve drinks while on the show so ots not nice , it's quite distracting since they are walking in front of you. Won't be back neither recommend to anyone unless you don't mind it's not an authentic flamenco.

Great show. It was like a dream, and surreal. Nice small rooms. Glad to get front row, but would recommend getting 2nd row from front to have better view. Ticket is on a bit higher side but I've felt it's worth it.

Powerful, passion, professional!!! This is my 2nd visit to Madrid & Spain 🇪🇸 but I would say Flamenco 💃 is the one that make me feel that I am really in Spain! Must watch it closely to feel it. We are sitting in the 2nd row and we can really feel the power when the dancer 🕺🏻 stomp on the stage. Guitarist is also awesome together with live singer.

This is a great venue for flamenco, intimate dining experience. The flamenco was outstanding and all of the performers, singers, dancers, flutist, guitarist, and jaleo! were amazing.

I chanced upon the ticket office of Cardamomo on my way to my hotel in Sol. Amazing find!! The theater is small, but that does not affect the quality of the performance. All eight artists were incredibly talented. 1 hour passed by very quickly. Best value for money :)

Watching a flamenco show is surely in the top-10 must do tourist activities while in Madrid. I enjoyed the show to the core, it was passionate, intense, and full of energy. They have 4 shows (1800, 1930, 2100, and 2230), each lasting approximately an hour. I would recommend going for the last show, as then you can go there after having dinner. Also, there are 4 zones (A, A2, B, and C) with varying distance from the stage, which also range in price from 39 euros (Zone-C) to 49 euros (Zone A). I sat in Zone A2, as you don't need to crank your head up to watch the show. There's a welcome drink included in the ticket price. I chose a Sangria, duh, when in Madrid, and it was so refreshing, that I ended up ordering one more! I haven't been to other flamenco shows in Madrid, but I truly enjoyed the experience, thus, the rating!

Spectacular performance from the artists! This was my first Flamenco show and I was amazed by the emotion, dancing, and efforts the artists put into the show. Service was also amazing. The staffs were friendly and welcoming. We were also greeted by one free welcome drink, could be wine or sangria. Overall it was a great experience in Madrid. I enjoyed it so much. Well done crews!

Wonderful show exhibiting a good mix of guitar, singing and flamenco dancing, about 60m...just the right amount of time. The venue is compact. One free drink of wine and a bar available for extra drinks, snacks. Convenient city center location, easy checkin, quick exit. Recommended!

What an amazing experience!! A must watch cultural experience..the experience is very refreshing and traditional. I don't understand Spanish but still loved the vibe, music and performance. Such passion and energy in every artist performance. The artists were giving 100% and delivering an experience as promised. The venue is a bit small but doesn't bother as the act is worth it. Overall value for money with free drinks🥂 Do not miss it!
