“Carmen, Opera & Flamenco”: Bizet's classic work reinterpreted through the art of flamenco
“Carmen, Opera & Flamenco”, is the flamenco adaptation of Bizet's classic opera, “Carmen”. A free-spirited woman captivates a soldier who, blinded by passion, abandons his life, only to discover that Carmen's heart is as free as the wind. Teatro Flamenco Sevilla and Sevilla de Ópera have joined forces to produce a unique show where both genres coexist and shine together. "Carmen, Opera & Flamenco" is part of the parallel program of the 1st Seville Opera Festival, coinciding with the 150th anniversary of the opera Carmen. It is a unique opportunity to enjoy one of the world's most renowned operas with the beauty and power of flamenco.
