About the Show
Tablao Flamenco Zawi is named after the legendary Berber Zawi ibn Ziri, a leader who began transforming Granada into one of the major cultural and political centers of Al-Andalus. Over time, Granada also became one of the birthplaces of flamenco, and Tablao Flamenco Zawi keeps this tradition alive.
Located in the heart of the city, close to Plaza Nueva and the majestic Cathedral, the venue is inspired by the aesthetics of Al-Andalus-era Granada, where every detail speaks to its history and the love of flamenco. In this cozy and intimate space, song, dance, and guitar intertwine each night to weave a new tale of passion, adventure, and sorrow.
