Nice place to listen to genuine flamenco. We've chosen a package with a dinner, followed by a concert. The dinner was a 3 course menu, tasty, we liked it. There was a selection of fish and meat dishes as a main course. Everything is fresh and nicely cooked. One hour for the dinner was definitely not enough, our desserts came during the show already. So keep an eye on time. The show itself was fine, but not the best of the kind, if you really a conneseur of the genre. But again, quite good to get an impression and memories. The public liked it. Be sure to take your ear protection with you. Our table was located right under a speaker, and it was loud!

We ordered the dinner +flamenco show. All was well organized. Dinner started at 20:00, with glass of sangria as a welcome drink. Waiters were super attentive and fast in serving. There is a special section for those who are having dinner, so do not expect to seat in a first raw, but still visibility was good, meanwhile the chairs were soooo uncomfortable. The dessert cake came the moment show started - the show itself was spectacular and very unique. Really enjoyed the experience.

Went for the dancing, couldn't get over how great the singer and guitarist were too. We didn't book the dinner option but were able to get a table at the early show easily and had some (giant) tapas

Excellent show. Our family got the dinner and show. The dinner was excellent. 2 complementary drinks ( soda/ alcohol selection) followed by meat and cheese appetizer, soup/ salad, main entree, and desert. Service was excellent with English menu included. The dance itself was passionate, exciting, and very entertaining in the cave. Excellent dance work and cannot recommend it enough. Well done to the show crew!!

We saw the 9pm show on a Thursday and it took our breath away! This was our first experience with Flamenco and because of this show, it certainly won’t be our last. The performance was one of the most emotionally powerful artistic experiences I have ever had.

We visited the espectáculo a few days ago, it was such a wonderful and powerful show! The dancers created pure magic with the beauty and emotions of their movements. As a musician myself, I must also say that I very enjoyed hearing the singer and the guitarist – truly top professionals, and the entire flamenco ensemble is an absolute treasure. Bravo y olé!

We attended a flamenco show package in Granada that included the flamenco show, dinner, and hotel pick-up and drop-off. The experience was well worth the price, as it combined excellent food, generous portions, and attentive service with a great view of the show. The venue, located inside a cave, created an intimate and unique atmosphere, enhancing the overall experience. The local dishes served during dinner were delicious, and the portions were satisfying. This experience is a wonderful way to enjoy both the culture and cuisine of Granada. Highly recommended for those looking for an authentic evening in Granada.

I am a Japanese who visited in June. The train was delayed and I was late for my reservation. However, the staff was very kind and changed the time for me. I had a very delicious meal and sangria on the terrace. An hour of being captivated by the wonderful flamenco show. Thank you for the memories I will never forget! Thank you to all the staff, including the staff, chefs, dancers, and musicians!

Lovely location, evening walk with sunset before the show. The show was fantastic, although the chairs we had to sit on throughout the show where bum numbing. I would suggest a visit.

Good food and amazing flamenco show. What a great show.

5* for the flamenco, just terrific - I only wish the show had been longer. Great guitar, soulful singing and energetic dancing - superb. And the girl (think she was the restaurant owner's daughter) - she was tremendous! Transport to and from our hotel was included in the EUR 62, so that was convenient. We took the dinner option and the food was a little disappointing. Lots of courses, but mediocre - 3.5*. Decent sangria welcome drink and house white wine. It was very loud in the beginning because an earlier show was still on when we arrived for dinner, cutting off all conversation - something for diners to be aware of.

What a special time.. the dancers were just amazing. I don’t even have words to describe how beautiful it was!! 100% recommend.

The food was very good though the selection lacking in variety. The show was nothing less than spectacular, with the performers singing and dancing in a passionate way that was moving. They even let me shoot my dslr but without using the flash. Great night !

According to our hotel concierge, this is the flamenco show to which the Spanish Government sent The Rolling Stones when they came to Grenada. Great for The Stones but imagine if Venta el Gallo’s manager said to the performers one afternoon, “put on a good show tonight. The Rolling Stones will be in the audience.” However, I am confident this group of excellent performers put on a great show that impressed even Stage-Strutting Mick, as they did our group. Why? Not only because they were a group of great dancers, a singer, and a guitarist, but because Flamenco was blues and soul before the Blues and Soul (it began in the 15th Century), which is visually apparent in the faces, contortions, perspiration, leg, arm, hand, and head movements, and heel-pounding of the dancers, the wailing, pleading, and chanting of the vocalist, and the plaintive chords of the guitarist, which Keith must have appreciated. Our hotel got us front row seats, which gave us a wonderful shoes-eye-view. But watch your drinks as the dresses twirl and the scarves fly. John Hornick, YouTube’s Chef’s Apprentice.

The dancers were great. The food is also very nice. I had the fish with potatoes and shishito peppers. The service could use some work. Everything was awesome

We booked a dinner show at El Gallo well in advance of our visit and were pleased to see that we were at the top of the list when we arrived. We were disappointed to find that our table was right at the back of the room and couldn’t see the stage very well. I pointed this out to the three ladies at the door who were very unhelpful. We couldn’t hear the guitar solo as our table was next to the kitchens, which was only separated by a curtain, therefore there was constant noise. We couldn’t see the feet of the performers and had to keep standing up. The final insult to us was when the male performer was on stage, the staff started to clear the tables making more noise. Also the ladies toilets had not been prepared for the evening. We would suggest that visitors went to one of the smaller flamenco caves, where you get a good view and a more intimate experience.

Great spot to take in some flamenco! The performers were absolutely top notch. My only critique was the layout, the foot work of a flamenco dance is pretty damn important I discovered upon this experience. And unless you’re seated in the front 2 rows, you’ll be looking over people’s heads and struggling to see it. That being said we still had a great time!

Reviews are so unbalanced. I agree with the bad ones as this is THE tourist trap. Food is really average, and you pay 30€! In Granada you will have much better. Hygiene seems an unknown concept (dirty glasses, dirty dishes) Flamenco show is fine, but gut feeling, you have better and cheaper options just around the corner

Terrible venue. Uncomfortable, cramped seats, jammed together in a way that blocks you from seeing anything but the performer’s determined faces and waving arms. Can’t see dance (flamenco is all about feet), can’t see guitar, can’t see anything. Staff stood by talking throughout. Dancers look talented, but they are betrayed by a terrible performance space. Go elsewhere.

This place is incredible! The show was amazing as well as the whole dining experience. Everyone was nice and friendly. The reservation process was smooth. Advice: please do not allow people to take photos or videos during the show. It was distracting.

Been there for their flamenco show, and it was fantastic. I have never experienced anything alike in my life. The show was so full of feelings, it made us cry, it took our breath away, and made our belly flip. I can most certainly recommend it, I will definitely go again when I visit Granada the next time.

We saw the most amazing Flamenco here. I was sceptical it would be overly touristy but the performance was simply amazing. The passion of the dancers was breathtaking. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Best Flamenco experience in Granada. If you want to be mesmerized by an 1 hour show and a very tasty meal, that's the place to go.

Went to a glance to show. 22€ and one drink is included. Enjoyed with the show, dancers and musicians seemed quite professional.

It is well worth booking the dinner and show package which is very good value. We requested a seat on the terrace which they kindly arranged and had an excellent dinner with amazing views over Alhambra. The show itself was wonderful and your ticket includes a couple of free drinks.

Been there in the afternoon for drinks and tapitas, it was wonderful! Came back the same day for the Flamenco show, and it was simply hypnotizing! One hour felt like 10 minutes. It might be a tourist thing, but oh my god it is worth every penny!!!! The place is a 5 minutes taxi from city centre, about 5 euro for 3 people. If you have the chance, DO NOT MISS IT!! There is not enough compliments to this place. Much love! 💕 + The kid at the end of the show was the highlight!

If you can get to it - Do it! The raw passion was palpable. We loved the energy and truth the performers bought. Truly a great show. A such gentle and kind service as well.

We’re taken there after a private tour of Granada and Albaicin…the show was fantastic and inexpensive compared to other venues. They include a drink with the price of admission and they also offer food for additional fee.

Dissapointed. Bad experience -I read about this place in a guidebook, it was described as authentic. Maybe it was in the past but now it's not. It's a typical tourist trap. -The staff (owner and manager) are scammers and very dishonest they seat people who had prepaid in bad places to leave the good ones for those who arrive later. (See pictures and story below). -Neither the food nor the show were worth the money spent on this. I would recommend finding other alternatives in Granada. But if you want to try this place, insist on sitting in a good place because they will try to seat you at the back saying that other seats are "reserved". -Dinner is extremely overpriced, such menus are usually for 20-25 euros maximum. You can simply have some drinks in the terrace, and then go to the show. - Dinner is served in two places, on the terrace (which is why I made the reservation in this place) and in the cave, behind the spectators of the show (which is where we were actually seated). When I asked the manager why can't we have dinner on the terrace, he said that it's completely full right now. I went up to see and as you see in the pictures there were 3 empty tables(see pictures) - After I went up and took the pictures the owner came so I told her that we weren't asked where we wanted to have dinner, and that the manager said that the terrace was full while in fact it wasn't at all. She said that "it's because they are reserved". Which is not true because while I was upstairs the same guy asked a waitress if there are empty tables for some people who had just arrived!!!! After ALOT of arguing, the owner said that if we want "later we can have a drink on the terrace". Obviously we didn't because we were already disgusted with everything in that place. -As for the show, the female dancers are not great. The male dancers, the singer and the guitarist were very good.

We went for dinner and a show. Dinner was on the terrace and overlooked the Alhambra which was amazing to see at sunset. The food was good but it’s a lot of food to eat before the show. We rushed to get through the cheese plate, entree and dessert. The dining area was small and there is a long narrow staircase up there so be careful! Service was great! Our waiter was funny and helpful. The show was amazing and worth it! We had been to Corral de la Moreria in Madrid and we think the dancers here were better. The seating area for the show is small. We were told it would be cramped and that was correct; it is in a cave after all! The show was only an hour though. They were also kind enough to call us a cab at the end of the show. There is only one restroom for each gender on the first floor so the lines at the end of the show will be long. The venue is also on the top of a steep hill and cabs don’t take you all the way up to the front door. Be ready to walk!

Our hotel booked this Flamenco dinner show for us. I am not a picky person, but for €62 per person (including transportation) this was extremely disappointing. Much of what we wanted to eat was not available and what we did order came to us cold or lukewarm at best. They did take it back and reheat it for us. The meat had no flavor at all and the flan was just horrid. The show was ok. The guitarist and dancers were quite good. It is an option to go and just see the show with drinks and I wish we had opted for that. The cave the venue it is built into is quite quirky, which can be a good thing. Personally for me, it just wasn’t very good.

AS a flamenco lover, I would say that this tablao offers really good flamenco show .Dancers and musicians are perfect!!! However, there is a HUGE drawback for this place: it is the hall itself. Looks like there was a round placement is the past, but show owners decided to earn more money and just get as many spectators as possible (without thinking if people really enjoy) You HAVE to see dancers' legs to fully understand and feel flamenco. However, the hall is TOTALLY flat, so people in the first 2 rows can see what you need, but all the rest can see just heads and the upper body parts. It is extremely bad if you are not a tall man or a child (as our 3 y.o. son) In addition, waiters are moving DURING the show decreasing visibility to even worst quality!!! SO, unless you are in the first rows in the hall -> not recommended if you really want to see flamenco. There are another tablao shows (in caves in particular) with the better accommodation.

Lovely little place with attentive staff. The flamenco was of a very high quality. We had a couple of short power cuts during the performance, but I had the impression that the people running the place worked hard to fix it and they cared their guests had a good experience.

I went there to see a flamenco show and I loved it! The performers were very talented and passionates. It's a small place so it felt intimate. And all the staff were very friendly.

This show was amazing. I thought it was going to be over the top but it felt so much like an interpretive dance that I was mesmerized. The pain, the struggle, the triumph of the flamenco dance.

The flamenco show was outstanding, all of the dancers showed great talent! I would recommend booking early to get the best seats. The only critique I have of this place is that the seating area is flat and the stage is low. Thus, the people sitting in the back could not see much. Would recommend!

Quite a transformative experience to watch this performance in such a historically relevant place to the flamenco culture in Granada. It’s very intimate. It’s in a cave because of the history of the people who developed the dance. There’s the option to just watch the dance and skip the dinner which I think is the best option.

I booked the show from trip advisor and by far this is one of the best flamenco shows in Granada. The acoustics inside the caves gives a much better experience. Staff are very welcoming and service is amazing. Will definitely go there again to try the dinner and attend the show again in my next visit. Amazing flamenco- The performers and musicians were absolutely spectacular! We live in Spain and therefore have seen a lot of flamenco! And I must say, the performers were just electrifying! It is in the “Sacramonte” area of Granada which are old caves! Very cool! We did dinner and performance, however I would say the food was “average” and could use a bit of work. Also, the service was a bit lackluster. We expected a bit more for the price. Dinner costs about €35-40 per person and the show was about €28. My recommendation is to simply go see the performance and skip dinner.
