Fantastic show by very talented dancers and musicians. I haven't seen a show where dancers had that much space before to move and really express themselves. And I've never seen castanets incorporated. Very nice and comfy seating and AC, which in a day of 41C, was much welcomed!

This was such a wonderful way to experience more of the Spanish culture. It’s a small theater that feels very intimate and it’s absolutely beautiful. All of the performers were incredible and you can tell they love every moment of it 😍

Really recommend this teatro for a beautiful flamenco performance. The dancers were wonderful and brought such great energy and feeling to the dance. The singers were so talented and emotional. Overall great experience, lasts around an hour (in case you want to book a dinner after — which is generally recommended because the area is busy) and try to arrive about 10-15 mins before the show begins because it starts on time.

Incredible flamenco show in Triana - absolutely must see while in Seville! We were finding it hard to select which show to go to, but this one was recommended by one of our tour guides who is also a flamenco student. The venue is beautiful, seating is really comfortable, and the show itself is a wonder. All the artists (dancers, singers and guitarist) performed incredibly. I would return to Seville just to see this show again!

We were impressed. This show has been recommended to us by a local friend. There is no big show, lights and etc. but the performance you see is amazing. I really appreciate all the effort from the team. Definitely worth the value, and its a must see. We sat upstairs in balcony put it was really okey to watch it. You can see everything easily

I was recommended this as more of a local spot of course knowing that those who attend are mostly tourists. The performance has 3 singers, 1 guitarist, and 2 dancers. There was so much passion…I think the female dancer had tears in her eyes, the male was sweating so much you could see the sweat flying off with every shake of his head. The singers and guitar were almost a separate performance of themselves. So good I cried.

Very beautiful performances. Felt very personal as it’s a small venue with only so many seats. I liked how they don’t allow phone and camera use during the show, as everyone was fully engaged and enjoying it. Very talented! Would definitely recommend!

Sevilla, Teatro Flamenco Triana, Sevilla, Teatro Flamenco flamenco, form of song, dance, musical, mostly guitar. Associated with the Andalusian Roma (Gypsies) of southern Spain. There, the Roma people are called Gitanos. The roots of flamenco, though somewhat mysterious, seem to lie in the Roma migration from Rajasthan, in northwest India, to Spain between the 9.th and 14.th centuries. These migrants brought with them musical instruments, such as tambourines, bells, and wooden castanets, and an extensive repertoire of songs and dances. The essence of flamenco is cante, or song. Flamenco songs fall into three categories: Cante jondo ("deep song), Cante intermedio ("intermediate song), Cante chico (“light song).

Absolutely fantastic. Brilliant to see 2 flamenco dancers complimenting one another in their routines. The guitarist's solo was amazing as well as the two singers. The time went very quickly.

I would like to give it a higher rating but for me no being allowed to take any photographs at all....even at the end was a major dissapointment. I tried WhatsApping the theatre to give my feedback privately but mesages aren't being delivered so here it is : We saw the performance tonight at 19:30. It was excellent. The guitarist in particular was incredible. My only problem was not allowing any photographs at all. I can understand it during the main performance so as not to distract other members or the audience or the performers. We have seen Flamenco many times in Seville, Cordoba, Malaga, Granada etc etc. Every other performance at the very least allows some photographs at the end of the performance It's how people remember their holidays and share the experience with others. I would love to add photos to the review but none were allowed. I have lots of other photos from every other Flamenco perdkrmanx I have been at...

There are many flamenco shows in Sevilla but this one is special as it’s in a theater. The performances of the dancers, the singers and gitar player are exceptional. We have seen many shows over the years but this one is definitely my number one. Especially Luisa Palicio was outstanding and I have seldom seen so much passion during a performance.

It was one of the best live performances we ever attended. Dance, singing, guitar, everything was top notch. Theatre itself had a nice ambience as well. The whole experience did set us up for great weekend in Sevilla. Highly recommended.

We had an amazing experience. The guitarist, the singers and the dancers were truly incredible. A lovely way to spend an hour! The venue is small and intimate – a very pretty, old theatre, beautifully preserved and decorated.

So intense! A travel guide brought me here and although I was skeptical, this performance totally changed my mind. The performance was amazing with a young and professional crew. 10/10 would come back. Loved all the dresses.

Simply amazing. The emotions were palpable. The dancing was mesmerizing. This was our first time experiencing flamenco and we were awe-struck. The theatre feels small and intimate. Highly recommend this experience.

Seeing a flamenco performance at this teatro was one of the best experiences of the trip. Even though I am not traditionally into dance performances, this was in a league of its own. The stunning performance blended dance, song and music...and kept me and my partner in awe for over an hour. You can feel the passion of the performers for their art, and the encouragement they provide their fellow performers on stage is palpable. Would recommend this place to any family or friends looking for a deeper cultural experience....simply breathtaking.

We loved the performance and the intimate atmosphere of the theatre!! However we were seated in the balcony, two rows in front of the production booth and during the guitar instrumental, we were distracted by hearing the engineer speaking on his cell phone. This was very annoying and unprofessional as it definitely took away from the performance. Otherwise, would recommend this show!

We saw an incredibly moving performance at this intimate theater - both dancers and singers were outstanding. We later saw another show in Madrid at another well regarded theater, which only helped to highlight just how incredibly lucky we were to have had this experience.

Days later and I’m still in awe of the skill and passion of the performers at this show. Tremendous singing, guitar playing and the dancing!!!Such emotion they imbued, stunning. One recommendation: a libretto of some sort, to allow the audience understand the narrative elements a little better. Couldn’t recommend it more highly.

We recently visited the beautiful theatre in the heart of Triana, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. From the moment we arrived, the staff went above and beyond to accommodate my mum, who was in a wheelchair. The theatre's accessibility was excellent, making our experience smooth and enjoyable. The performance itself was nothing short of stunning. The passion and emotion of the performers were remarkable, and they drew us completely into their story, it brought me to tears. This traditional flamenco show is an absolute must-see, and I would urge anyone to book tickets and experience it for themselves. It's an unforgettable cultural experience.

Thanks to having stayed at the Hotel Tayko, we received front and center seats, so to begin with, we felt from the beginning onstage with the performance. The theater itself is intimate, warm, and fibrent with color. The only small thing missing was a warm reception. The gal that first greeted us seemed to sport only a frown. It's funny how those little things make a difference in how you feel. Being a business owner myself it makes me think how important my customers' reception from employees is. From start to finish, the performance was captivating, thrilling, passionate, precise, stimulating, inspiring, and surly an evening never to be forgotten. I wish I could give tribute by name, but I never received or heard their names, but the two dancers, the two singers, and the guitarist were all top-notch and spot on. I was particularly impressed with how tight they were one with the other. They actually perform as if they were a single organism. Physically, emotionally and spiritually, and musically connected. If you only have time for one thing in Seville, this is it.

Good small show. Was easy to find the address. I would recommend booking to get seats closer to the front. We only had 1 night in Seville to catch a show so we took the chance and fronted up 30 mins before the show. We got seats at the back and there was probably about 5 seats left available. No photos are allowed of the performance! We paid €20 for our seniors tickets to get in.

We arrived slightly late, so suggest the address of theatre is put directly into Google maps. The show itself was superb. The talent of all the performers was outstanding; from the guitarist (true talent) the two singers (beautiful , authentic voices) then of course the dancers. The one male and one female performer were talented beyond belief, the movement & rhythm were sublime. Never having seen Flamenco before we were all blown away. Wow, Wow, Wow!!! 🙏❤️No pics as not permitted.

The show was simply amazing! All the artists on stage were great and passed on the love that they have for flamenco! It was my first experience and I loved it so much that I booked another show when in Granada. Really thank you for such a beautiful experience!

Ok for a visit although we saw better places in town. Flamenco was good and building itself is nice small theater, so "teatro" in the name is not just the showong off.

The show was fantastic. I am a massive flamenco fan and have been to see shows like Viva with Manuel Linan in. The dancer's, and singers and guitarists were amazing tonight at Teatro Flamenco Triana. If you're in Seville, it is a show worth seeing. The theatre is small, so it's like you are having an intimate performance. The passion, the duende, made my heart beat and body want to move. I loved this show. ❤️

Seat reservation is not possible while booking and allocated randomly. If you are placed on rear seats the view will be blocked. Performers are ok but have seen much more better. Taking pictures or videos during the show are not allowed.

Utterly disappointed with Teatro Flamenco Triana… Not only was the view from our seats abysmal, but we also weren't given the option to choose our seating, which resulted in a complete waste of an evening and money!!! 🤮 The lack of consideration for the audience's experience was stark!!! I cannot in good conscience recommend this venue—there are far better places where the respect for the patrons and the passion for flamenco are clearly visible! 👎🏻😡😓

It was an amazing experience! A big bravo to the singers, dancers and the guitar player who all performed excellent. Impressive overall and I recommend it. It’s a theater and there was visibility to the stage which is elevated. We bought the tickets online.

Do not go here! Terrible experience. First of all, you cannot take pictures or video which is ridiculous. This is not mentioned when you book your ticket. Second, I wanted to cancel my ticket as I heard negative things from others staying at my hotel. Similar things to other reviews posted here: no passion, not a lot of value for the money, uncomfortable and unprofessional. Maybe the good shows are saved for the weekends and they just go through the motions on weekdays. I also called and explained my situation. The person gave me an email address to contact which is the same on the website but it does not work. I would recommend going to Teatro Flamenco Sevilla. Same price and a much better show. Oh, and you can take pictures and video there! These people are frauds and thieves!

If you come to Seville you cannot miss a flamenco show rhe artist where incredible, I really recommend I really love it

The show itself is authentic flamenco with traditional Spanish guitar songs and a blend of sad and happy songs. The problem is this is put on as a show which is very unauthentic and can seem like a cold experience. Flamenco is an emotion, is an attitude, and without context, on a stage, it may feel forced. I was lucky to see good singers and dancers, but I feel like I would rather see flamenco elsewhere where the atmosphere is a bit warmer and the circumstances more natural.

Very poor show, the performers did not seem to take it seriously. The room is overcrowded and all chairs are at the same level so you can barely see the show if you're not in the front row. One performer spent 20 min singing alone, without any dance. Then, the guitarist was left alone to play for another 15 min without any performance. There was a total of one female dancer and one male dancer who danced for a very short time. In the background the singer was joking with his colleague and laughing, killing the authenticity of the show. Very poor experience, not recommended at all. Do not trust hotel recommendations!

Great small local spot for just a show. Not too expensive, no food or drinks but not needed as the show was captivating all by itself. The small closeness of the theatre really made the show more intimate and felt connected to the performers. Also loved the dirty look the guitarist gave the one guest who thought they didn't need to silence their phone. No pics or phones allowed.

First time experiencing a flamenco show so we had nothing to compare to, yet a very enjoyable experience and a must do when in Seville. The passion, perfection and professionalism displayed by the singers, dancers and guitarist came through and the hour went too fast. No drinks supplied so take a bottle of water with you. It is flat seating 10 wide and 10 deep and we booked only 3 hours before the show start and were in the 3rd last row with some tall heads in front, yet the seats were staggered so we could see between them without craning our heads and could still see the facial expressions. I recommend seeing this show and if you have time, go see another one too just because once is not enough

Absolutely electrifying performance by the very talented 2 dancers and 3 musicians. The audience was spellbound every time the dancers came on stage. A passionate gripping experience, we can feel the dancers energy and emotion. Highly recommend

Wow! this was our first time at a flamenco show and it gave me goosebumps! the theatre is small so the experience is more intimate. You can actualy see the expressions on the faces of the singers and dancers. if you would like to go and see a flamenco show, you should go see this one!

Found the whole experience fascinating and truly enjoyable. The pride and passion was clearly displayed by each and every performer. Thankyou for giving us a true and authentic flamenco display.

This was an amanzing experience ! It is my first flamenco show so I cannot really compare, but the music and musician were amazing so were the dancers. Such emotions and techniques, I could not see 1 hour had already passed. Definitely would recommend and would be happy to watch again !

For an authentic Flamenco show, definitely visit Teatro Flamenco Triana. It's a small theater without drinks or food and the performance was OUT OF THIS WORLD. This was one of our favorite experiences in Seville and I highly recommend it if you want a true Flamenco experience without the touristy nonsense.

A school and institution dedicated to the practice,presentation and preservation of the Flamenco art form. Truly a magnificent performance the evening we attended. Each member of the group demonstrated such passion for their aspect of the show. Guitar, vocals and of course the dance. All equally important. Dramatic and passionate. See Flamenco at this venue and be assured that you are watching the real thing

Intimate and cozy experience. Very powerful dancing, in my opinion if you want to experience Flamenco in a theatre it’s a great choice. Of course that is different from experiencing it in bar or in another venue, but you really don’t want too much bells and whistles (like fancy lighting or what not) with Flamenco to experience the passion and power of the dance.

Loved this place - one of my favourites of various flamenco venues I visited. Beautiful little theatre with a proper stage in great Triana district close by the river. Great performances and all round great place

Really great experience here. My wife and daughter loved every minute of the show. Highly recommend it.

It was okay, the woman dancer carried the whole show, everything else was passable, you can find better options. It is a fairly small room with a lot of seats, feels a bit claustrophobic because the ceiling is low and you sit very close to others. When we came on Saturday evening it was full. It did not have any incline, so stage was at times hard to see because the heads of people before obstructed the view. Also, we could hear every little sound people in the audience make — unwrapping if the candy, sneezing, opening and closing their bags, whispering etc, which was very distracting. The show itself wasn’t anything special, there were some more active segments and the filler ones with just guitar or a song, it felt boring at times. Woman dancer was awesome, really passionate and skilled. Beautiful dresses too, she changed 3 of them during performance. Everyone else was dressed very casually, for example, second man dancer was wearing skinny jeans which felt out of place. All in all, if you come you probably wouldn’t regret, but there are better places out there. (taking pictures or videos is not allowed)

It felt like they did the bare minimum so you didn’t feel ripped off. Very small theatre but the intimacy didn’t seem to help with the intimacy….. also the costumes lacked any colour or beauty.

Set in a beautiful small theatre with a cast of 5 people. 2 singing, 2 dancing and 1 playing the guitar. Very informative on the culture but if it's a night to enjoy live, a group of flamingo dancers then this is definitely not the show for you. After watching, I would give it a miss. Good luck!

Very interesting. This is a flamenco school, too. The performance is not pre-planned. The classical guitar was excellent. Fascinating to see the authentic dancing and hear the singing.

I adored this show… no filming or picture was allowed, but it makes it so much enjoyable. I am a flamenco fan and the cantaor was amazing, the guitarist was superb, their techniques were impeccable. What can I say about the dancers other than they were absolutely magnificent!! I am not sure if people is aware of this, but they are really renowned artist in Spain and at teatro flamenco Triana you have the opportunity of seeing them in a cozy and intimate setting! In my humble opinion Teatro Flamenco Triana is absolutely worthy of your visit if you are visiting Sevilla! 🙌🏼

Fantastic show! I was not entirely sure what to expect from this show as I booked the tickets on a whim. The setting is in a small theatre (about 10-15 rows of seating) and about 8 seats in each row. We were given tickets in the second row and it seemed like there was a great view from any row. I have never seen a flamenco show before so I don’t have any comparison but this show was very exciting and fun! I would recommend doing some research on the history of flamenco before the show (if you don’t already know) as it really helps to understand the performance. There was about 5 rows full and there was room for walk-ins (rather than pre-booking). No phones allowed during the show so no photos or videos to share.

We had the honor of a lesson in flamenco prior to the show we enjoyed here. Our instructor made the experience fun and enjoyable, despite my lack of rhythm. I understood a concept new to me by her: "flamenco is not just a dance. It is a way of being. The spirit is in everyone and everything." The following show was full of that passion and spirit. It was a truly authentic experience. Taking the class right before enables you to appreciate it more than simply attending. Ole!!!
