A must do activity in Madrid! The staff at the reception were also very kind and welcoming. This flamenco show was actually recommended by my tour guide earlier that morning, so I decided to visit in the evening to ask about tickets, and luckily there were still available seats. Booking directly is much cheaper i swear. I truly felt the passion and emotion of the performers during the show. They were incredibly talented, and you could really see how deeply connected flamenco is to Spanish culture. The experience was very powerful and unforgettable. The ticket also included one drink and a snack, which was a nice addition. I would definitely recommend this experience to anyone visiting Madrid. We reserved dinner show and went little early, that gave us one of the best seats. When you choose the menu from 3 kinds, everything on that page will be served!! You can drink as much as you want, foods were covering the table!! Show was just amazing. The dances were most passionate I’ve ever seen but the guitarist and singers were spurring the dance. Actually I was in tears watching the first dance. The last time I cried was Swan Lake by Ukrainian famous ballerina. My husband who never enjoyed any dance shows except our kid’s recital, said he was impressed. Thank you very much for the great time❣️

I always make it a point to watch traditional dance performances in every country I visit. This time, I was really looking forward to seeing flamenco in Spain — but sadly, the experience was quite disappointing. A tour group arrived 30 minutes late. The staff had to take their orders during the show, and the group was loud the entire time — including noisy children. It was impossible to fully enjoy or immerse myself in the performance. Such a pity, because the performers on stage were truly passionate and professional. They even politely asked the audience to be quiet, but it didn’t seem to help much. The performance itself deserves 5 stars⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️, but the overall experience… only 1 star⭐️. I was really looking forward to the flamenco , so it was a big disappointment — but definitely not because of the performers. They were truly amazing.

I’ve been to Spain many times and I have been to many flamenco shows. This was by far the best I’ve ever attended. It was the first time I ever saw the complete interaction between the dancer, the guitarist and the singer. It was so good, I was moved to tears. If you’ve been to a flamenco show, you know the emotion that it can stir. This was by far the best ever! It came highly recommended to me by local people in Madrid and that is how I made my choice. It was indeed amazing! I like the fact too that every show is different. It’s all impromptu, so every show is a different experience.

WOW! What an amazing flamenco experience. This place is legit, and even though it's located in a fairly high trafficked tourist area, it felt truly authentic and intimate. It wasn't a huge venue, and it seemed that all of the tables had a pretty good view of the stage. I know the same can't always be said for other (larger) flamenco theatres. We didn't have dinner here, but the tickets do include a drink and we also got some delicious olives to nosh on as we waited for the show. The performers were absolutely incredible. Each of the dancers performed one long, intense, and emotional dance. The guitarist also performed a song by himself without dancers. WOW. Truly WOW. Each of them are so talented, and their dances are not rehearsed. They just feel the music and move with it, which takes a lot of experience to be able to do that so well and on the spot. We had a couple of hiccups leading up to our visit. A couple members of our group had issues when we booked our tickets of the system glitching and it not recording our reservations, but the staff were very helpful and kind via email and they resolved it for us. Thank you so much for everything! I would definitely recommend Las Carboneras for the best flamenco experience in Madrid!

If you only do ONE thing in Madrid… go experience this show! So much skill and passion - we were captivated from the first strum of the guitar to the last flourish of the dancers. Probably the highlight of our entire trip! We got the dinner and actually recommend doing so. The food itself was fine - not the best, not the worst - but the bonus is that those who had the dinners also had the best seats. We were right in front of the stage! Don’t think of it as paying extra for dinner - think of it as paying more for great seats, and then getting a nice dinner included as a bonus. Amazing experience!!

Yesterday, our group was treated to a private lunch and flamenco experience at Las Carboneras, organised by our tour company, Tauck. This wasn’t just any flamenco performance—it was something entirely unique, just like every show at this intimate restaurant. During the performance, one of the dancers shared how flamenco at Los Carboneras is not rehearsed or scripted. In fact, 90% of what we witnessed was pure improvisation—every clap, every strum of the guitar, every step of the dance. She said, “It’s like a university for us, where we learn from one another every day. We never disconnect, and what you saw today will never be repeated again.” The beauty of this show wasn’t just in the skill of the performers but in the energy exchange between the artists and the audience. As the dancer explained, “We use energy—your energy and ours—to create something special each time.”Knowing that what we experienced was truly one-of-a-kind made it all the more special. Our guide also put the whole experience into perspective, explaining how flamenco is a blend of Spain’s many cultural influences from the qCeltic and Basque roots of the north to the Islamic sounds woven into the music. Flamenco itself has deep ties to the Romani people, who have been in Spain for over 2,000 years. He said, “By ending your journey in Madrid with flamenco, you’ve experienced a piece of the country’s cultural soul.” It was such a special afternoon, one made even more exclusive by Tauck’s thoughtful organisation. Overall, it was a good experience. While it’s clearly geared towards tourists, this was a memorable part of my trip to Madrid. I wouldn’t recommend booking the dinner; there are many alternatives that offer superior authenticity and quality, all without the presence of canned tuna. The performers truly give their best, and the guitar playing was outstanding. However, the seating arrangement doesn’t seem to prioritize arrival time. Despite being first in line, we had to watch the show from a 90-degree angle because the tickets purchased through their system were not recognized.

This was my third visit over 20 years but brought my family this time, including my three children ages 7, 13, and 15. They’re always so welcoming and made us feel like family. Incredible performers and delicious drinks.

Amazing night. As English speakers, we found the host very welcoming, as were all of the staff, making it an easy experience. The flamenco itself was phenomenal, especially the guitarist who we could see following the movement. It’s hard to imagine that the show is all improvised on the night. The explanation afterwards also helped put everything in to perspective. Drinks were great, service was excellent. Even my 13 year old son was blown away. Well worth it.

Worst flamenco experience ever. The room is not suitable for shows. Only a few tables are close to the scene - others are far and you just can't see anything. The first part of the show people who are late going in front of you. After - waiters and toilet visitors. I left this show after half of hour - anyway hard to see how actors dance on the scene. Our first flamenco show in Spain! Recommended by a dancer’s wife who lives in Madrid and dances there with her husband. Good sightlines, strong cast overall, nice location.

We did the dinner, flamenco dance combo.. The dancing, singing and music were high energy and super unique. It did get a little loud at times and took a couple of minutes to adjust. We were a party of two and had a table right in front of the stage. The entertainment lasted about an hour and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food and drink were hearty and a good compliment to the show. Overall resting is based on the experience.

I just smiled for an hour straight! WOW. Where do I begin? Authentic, fast-paced, meaningful… four dancers, two singers, a guitarist, and lots of emotion. At the end they explained this place is where they get to experiment with their art and enjoy an improvisational relationship with the other performers. It a very nice Flamenco show. Due to not a huge space it was like a home party. Artists were really good despite a latest show time.

My 2nd time coming to see them. The tablao is located by the San Miguel Market which makes for a perfect vermut or tinto de verano apperitiv prior to the show. You sit down and they offer you a drink. The tablas (boards) are very tasty, we got the mixed one w cheese and ham. The show is outstanding, the energy and feeling of these performers is unique. Ive been to other tablaos and this is my favorite. The music is beautifully sad and suffered and the stage seems about to break under the dancers violent taps. Flamenco is a dance of passion and pain and this crew portrays it beautifully. I recommend 100%

The food was ok but plentiful. The sangria was not very good - it tasted like it was made quickly with added sugar/sweeteners. Stick to wine and beer. I would not buy the dinner/drinks package if I did this again. The food was decent but seemed to cater to tourists and focused on quantity over quality. NOW on to the show, which was an unexpected delight. The dancing was loud, vibrant, flamboyant, emotional, and passionate. I was incredibly impressed with the show and highly recommend it! I did not expect to enjoy it as much as I did. The singing and guitar was equally impressive as well. I absolutely loved the performance.

The only reason the scored this at a 3 is because the seating are mostly on the side of the stage. Only 4 tables facing the stage, not giving many a good view of the dancers expressions, limiting your view. Sat on the side, even haven shown up to the location when there was barely anyone. No one bought the dinner, so the seating process did not make sense. Otherwise ok.

This was the ABSOLUTE best experience for us here in Madrid. The Art and Culture and Spirit is So rich and wonderful! I feel so deeply moved!

What an amazing performance. To be up front, I’m a tourist in Madrid and have no idea how traditional this performance is (compared to what you might see in Sevilla), but I do know that it was beautiful, powerful, seductive, and mesmerizing. It was obvious that the performers were passionate about their art and enjoyed what they do. I went in hoping to see good Flamenco “dancing”, but what I didn’t expect was that the guitar and vocals would be every bit as entertaining and captivating as the dancing. It was well worth the price and I would absolutely visit again if ever in Madrid in the future.

Absolutely amazing, stunning!!! Our group of 5 booked last table for the show and we were not disappointed. Actually, we were stunned and couldn't take our eyes off the stage, it was that great. Our waitress was super awesome, very quick with drinks and tapas. I would highly recommend this place. Simply the best!!!

Absolutely phenomenal! The whole experience was fantastic. The service was great, as the hosts were attentive and polite. (They also spoke English, which was a bonus for me). The food (appetizers, dinner, dessert) was great. We made the mistake of not going into the performance hungry enough. We had plenty of water and wine (always a good thing). And the performers were absolutely incredible. It was passionate, moving, and entertaining. I could feel and see their emotion on stage. It was beautiful. 10/10 would recommend and would absolutely go again. It’s a must see in Madrid.

The show was very good but our seats were not. We purchased the show only tickets (no dinner). and arrived 30 minutes early. Our seats let us see the dancers but not the musicians. People who arrived after us were given better seats which was a little disappointing. The venue is small/intimate and the service was good.

Where do I start from.. The show is magical and takes you back in time. Singers and dancers were AMAZING and the atmosphere was sensational. You will never regret attending the show and you will remember it forever. I will definitely visit them again whenever I pass by Madrid.

9/18/2023 @ 9:13pm WOW!!!!!!! Just finished watching the best Flamenco show EVER!!!! You have to see the show as It was exciting, real and later we learned the artist do about 90% improvisation so every show is UNIQUE for the evening! Come see it we did all the way from the USA.

Worth every penny. The two hour ticket includes one hour of dinner and a one hour performance. The food was delicious. The dancers and musicians are true artists. To go here is to support living breathing history and creativity!

This was my first flamenco experience at a tablao and it was great! I went to watch the Group Flamenco performance in which male and female dancers performed. The costumes, the live music and the dancers were captivating. We even got free tapas and one free drink included with the ticket price. Well worth it!!

We had a wonderful time at Las Carboneras. The flamenco dancers were fantastic, wonderful artists with passion by the bucketful. You can really tell that each performance is completely improvised! The food was very good and was a good variety of Spanish plates. The show started a little later than expected, but it wasn’t too bad if a delay. Visited 14.02.2023 For 70 euros /person I had dinner and watched the show. Drinks were included, the food was very good. The show impressed me a lot, it was my first time watching flamenco and it was different from what I expected. It's not just dancing. I saw despair, anger, tiredness and a wish to distract from it, passion, everything but espetic pop dancing shown on TV. There was so much pain in the singing and tenderness in the guitar playing. It is definitely worth watching to see traditional Spanish flamenco... The staff in the restaurant speaks fluent English. The location is convenient, 5 minutes on foot from a bus stop.

I’ve seen flamenco shows before. This was my first in Spain. And holy cow was it amazing. What I’ve seen before is usually a guitarist and a dancer. This has a guitarist, 2 singers and 4 dancers. You can feel the passion they all bring to the show! I had goosebumps the entire time. If you’re in Madrid, this is a must do!!!!

I've never enjoyed a live performance this much! My bf and I went for the hour performance and we absolutely loved it! Better to get there a little earlier if you want good seats but we got decent seats so I was very happy. We got a complimentary drink and an appetizer, but we were pretty hungry so we ordered more jamon (can't go wrong). I felt the dancers passion and all of their emotions through their dance; couldn't get enough! The hostess and our server knew English so that was very helpful. I highly recommend this flamenco show!

First time to the Flamenco show and I must admit that my jaw dropped! The chemistry within the dance company was out of this world. Their enthusiasm and love toward the flamenco culture was admirable and I can’t believe that I am now a fan! Must see when you’re in town.
