About the Show

Tablao Flamenco La Herrería is located in the center of Tarragona close to the famous Mercat Central de Tarragona. The venue is also situated very close to the famous beaches of the city of Salou. The tablao owes its name to the centuries-old tradition of the forge songs sung by the blacksmiths of the past, while beating against the anvil in the mystical light of the furnace.

The owner and artistic director of Tablao Flamenco La Herrería comes from a family of blacksmiths, and wanted to pay homage to this heritage, creating a forge where the elements of this sacred art merge: singing, rhythm and guitar. This is how flamenco was born, strong as iron, and hot and passionate as the fire of the furnace. In addition, the show offered at the establishment incorporates the philosophy of the Japanese art of Kintsugi that proclaims what is broken, can be fixed with gold. And so, it is worth even more.

This intimate and exciting show has a duration of one hour. This unique experience features the magic of flamenco in a temple of art, life and warmth. In La Herrería dreams are forged, to remain forever.

If you’re in (or anywhere near Tarragona), you need to make this show at Tablao La Herrería a priority! I honestly can’t remember the last time I enjoyed a performance this much!! The venue was easy to find and walking distance to many historic landmarks, and I really appreciated that children under 6 can attend for free; a deeply thoughtful touch for families traveling together. The talent and chemistry between the musicians and dancers was absolutely spectacular. You can feel their passion for flamenco in every note, every strum, and every step. The performance felt deeply authentic while also being incredibly entertaining from beginning to end. 12/10 recommend with all my heart! 💃💃💃

Spectacular show. When it ended, no one wanted to leave. The entire audience just sat there wanting more. So the performers did an impromptu encore. This is a must-see in Tarragona!

It was a marvelous spectacle! So much emotion in a breathtaking rhythm, combined with unique music and dancing. It was an amazing and unforgettable experience for me and my family. ¡Olé!

What a spectacular experience!!! It was my dream to watch flamenco live and I am so happy that I found this little gem… Music, singing and dancing was just another level. Artist put a lot of passion into it and you can feel it through the show.. I partially recorded the show on my phone and when I get back to it now it puts smile on my face. Just incredible. ♥️ Love it.

I had only heard of Flamenco, but this live performance was simply spectacular. The technical and emotional virtuosity just pulled me in with full force. All the dancers and musicians gave their all in the intimate setting. Not much else one can ask for, to experience pure art. Thank you with my whole heart!
