Excellent dancing, particularly the male dancer who was so fast and energetic. The guitarist was amazing and the singers were brilliant. A very enjoyable experience all round.

Amazing performers and wonderful intimate atmosphere. We had the pleasure of watching Francesca Grima perform and it was such a treat to watch. All improvisation and technique! One of the best flamenco shows we have seen. Even our ten year old daughter who does Spanish Dance lessons was inspired ❤️

Fabulous show! Small intimate room laid out with wooden chairs and a small stage. We arrived 15 minutes early and the place was half full. We sat in the second row (inexplicably empty) and had perfect views, any 10 feet away from the stage. The guitar playing was excellent, the singing was excellent, and the make and female dancer perfect with the feet generating a rhythm and urgency that complemented the emotions of the movement. Yes this is in a tourist area, but then we are tourists! But it is performed by professionals. An hour flew by. Loved every second.

Incredible and intimate show near the cathedral, amazing dancers, singer and guitarist was excellent also. I sat to the side of the stage and still saw everything.

Overall good experience, great performance by artists. Could see the passion in them. Could also feel a lot of the act was improvised live which was very interesting. Will recommend to the visitors. 1 less start because it is a small setting, small stage, ambience doesn’t feel great and you don’t feel the grandeur.

Great show! Great acoustics. About an hour long, great atmosphere, worth checking out for sure!

We attended this performance on our first evening in Seville. It did not disappoint at all. We loved the passion and talents of the dancers and musicians. Thank you for a wonderful kick off to our stay in Seville!

Wanted to see a flamenco show before leaving Sevilla so we found this place while walking around. It was such a good find. What an amazing show! It was so passionate and you can feel the energy of all the performers. The venue felt very intimate. Come early for front row seats. My show was at 7pm, my friend and I arrived at 6:20pm, and then a few minutes later people started coming in. Worth it to arrive early! No photos or video during the show but the last 5 minutes we were allowed to record. It's a very immersive experience so lean back and enjoy the music and flamenco.

Enjoyed a lovely hour of flamenco, only wish it had been a longer show. Some places offer food and drinks along with the flamenco, but here it's just the flamenco. It's small and some seating may not give best view so get there a bit early to get a better seat .

Impressive and intimate show, full of passion and positive energy. Highly recommend this for a evening while in Sevilla.

This was immense and mesmerising, it was pure theatre and you could tell the performers were living it for real. A true representation of the art form with great improvisation. A special note for the guitarist, he was outstanding. Definitely worth a visit.

Amazing! The performers gave everything and some. Surprised they can do two shows a night. Could not recommend highly enough.

Flamenco surgically removed from its native locale and placed on a low key stage with no vibe. The dancers were professional, the guitar player was professional, the singer was professional, no complaints there. There were tapping of shoes, clicking hands, burgeoning music. Just I imagined a lusty night under the stars after a hot day in a vineyard or the main square of quaint town where femme fatale dancer seduces the handsome matador and the other studs of the audience while people dine and drink wine to loosen their inhibitions. Naive me. We were escorted into a small theater with a tiny stage that resembled more to an adult show downtown Amsterdam. There were uncomfortable rows of wooden chairs. The performers came on stage, did their gig, then went back to their dress room to rest. They did not communicate with the audience, did not acknowledge that we were there. At some point they were probably telling each other their mothers medical history on stage. So skip Flamenco in Seville. Go to Granada! Their you can dine in a Gypsy cave while being entertained by lively entertainers, not bored professionals.

The show was really amazing, but the big disadvantage is that only the first two rows can see the legs of the dancers, which is everything you want to see! The rest of us could only see the dancers from the waist up… Especially the male performer was unbelievable!

Interesting show, seemed authentic, though performers at times seemed a little unorganized. The male dancer was the best part of the show. I’m not sure how it compares to other ticketed shows in Sevilla, though the impromptu flamenco show at the Plaza de España was much more entertaining and had better performers.

We came here by chance, Albert, one of the promoter on the Street, talked to me. He was funny and I had no clue where I should go for a authentic dance. So I just went here and I got a great feeling about this. Great artist, just 20-25€ per person. Nice service :) I would do it again and can recommend it 😃

Such an amazing local performance! Would highly recommend to anyone visiting Seville. The atmosphere was brilliant, and the talent of the performers is so impressive! Loved every second.

Fantastico! We hadn’t initially booked a flamenco show for our visit to Sevilla because we thought they might be too tourist-y for our liking. After learning more from locals, we decided we couldn’t not see a performance. The artists at Tablao Alvarez Quintero exceeded all expectations! The dancers and musicians were phenomenally talented and passionate about their art. The hour flew by and I was on the edge of my seat the whole time, as was the rest of the audience. The venue is perfect - intimate with simple furnishings. It all felt very authentic. I now have a new appreciation for flamenco and wished we’d built in more time for it - to see the museum, etc. Go see this show!!

A nice flamenco show displaying the various aspects of this traditional art (dance, guitar, singing). Not just a "tourist entertainment". Four very good artists giving their best. A small venue where the audience is very close to the stage.

A wonderful Flamenco show! The venue is intimate and warm. The show was so much fun! The artists gave 100% to each other and the audience. An authentic, beautiful and memorable Flamenco experience. Loved it!

We had a great experience at Tablao Alvarez Quintero. The show is very intimate, maybe 30 or 40 seats. Get there early to get one of the front row seats - we did not 😕. But all the seats are good as it is set up as stadium seating so you have a good view regardless. As for the performance - Spectacular! Francesca was magnificent. Gentle, Powerful,and Precise. The male dancer was also impressive with excellent footwork. Both exhibited great passion. They shared their joy with us through dance. Next time in Seville, I will be looking for Francesca Grima to see where she is performing.

Tourist trap! Avoid this place. I'd generally never go to a place like this, because it sounded my tourist trap alarm, but as I've been proved wrong in the past on a similar place where they delivered a sublime performance, I ignored it. I was wrong. First, the venue is terrible. You can't really see the dancers fully, as the stage is not raised. Aside from that, it is inside an alcove, which limits the dancers' movement and expression. The pieces were extremely rushed. There was no build up and climax, every piece was just straight to the point and then done with it. There was no allure, no emotion, no depth. This performance felt like a pastiche, they were pretending they didn't have to try hard because the public was just a bunch of tourists that would never come back. Shame. The singer was good, but unfortunately the guitarist was very lacking. I've seen some amazing flamenco guitarists, and unfortunately he needs to study more. Lots of missed notes, poor dynamics, terrible projection (it was very hard to hear the guitar at certain points). I believe the guitarist is a classically trained musician, as his touch was very light. The dancers were good, but I think I could only appreciate 50% of their performance. As I said above, this place is a tourist trap and should be avoided at all costs. 25 euros will buy you many cañas and will make you happier than this prefabricated, tourist fodder attraction.

A wonderful experience not to be missed! It takes place in an intimate setting where the audience can feel the genuine passion of the performers. Each person performed with professionalism - especially Francesca who lights up the stage with her amazing technique. I would definitely recommend this show to anyone looking for a fantastic tablao 💃

Underground style show yet very professional and worth the ticket!! They really sweat for our pure entertainment! To recommend!

Got the first show. There were some vacant seats because, well, it was 40° when we went and trust me, it is hot out. There’s AC inside the tablao so no need to worry though! Performers delivered very beautifully. It’s a good show for first-time watchers. A lot of the audience are Spanish too! There’s a 5-min window where you can take photos and videos because you’re not allowed to take any during the performance. Be there early as audience can pick their seats. You’d want a seat in front, aisle, or far back for good view.

Tablao Alvarez Quintero creates an atmosphere that is very personal, intimate, and full of energy. The dancers were extremely talented, the guitarist was very skilled, and the singer was almost angelic? I would very much recommend this for anyone who has never seen flamenco before. The pricing is steep, but worth it!

A fantastic and memorable experience; high energy, slick and rapid footwork by the male and female dancer delivered with a lot of passion and intensity. A very authentic show and the space is beautiful. Love the connection between the dances, singer and guitarist. Really beautiful . Highly recommend this venue…… 3rd visit here and always great!

The show is so beautiful that i can’t express in words . All singers/ guitarist/ dancers will show you what the “real flamenco” is and I feel energized. i am moved by their movements, atttide, their vibes, their art-loving-spirits…the atmosphere…. just love everything they have on stage. If you only have one night in Seville to see flamenco, this tablao is perfect for you cos after 1 hour performace you can grap a drink or tapas at the nice restaurants around. I won’t go to those turisty tablaos anymore. Sure I love to come again.

On a previous occasion I loved the performance. not so tonight - though most people did, apparently. I am not happy when the dancing takes such a high priority and most of the performance time. I suppose that is what most tourist attendees expect. it is flashy but doesn't have the FEELING for Flamenco that I crave. I much prefer the singing and the guitar. For me, the dancing should be icing on the cake, not more.

Today we had an unforgettable experience... Flamenco show... Not to be missed once you visit Seville... Francesca you are the best, we loved watching every single move you did together with the team... Excellent is just not enough. Thank you for your welcoming atmosphere xx

GREAT flamenco! Excellent guitar and singing, and outstanding dancing. Most importantly - the performance tonight had the FEELING of Flamenco, which is unique to this music when done well. We can't wait to go back. I bought the CD.

We had a wonderful time! Such a fast paced & moving experience that I nearly held my breath watching these great entertainers. This made our trip to Seville even better.

Intense flamenco show! Turned up a little late and lost but the lady at the entrance was kind enough to check it was me and ok me through. The dancers and singer/musician were very focused and intent on giving a strong performance (dancing, singing, and guitar). The intimacy was a little disturbed by the odd hostel/hotel guest walking to the back (but not across the stage) and the elevator located as part of the courtyard area where the show was. Otherwise a great display!

We got tickets randomly for their 1st evening show after walking by the venue. Wow oh wow, it was amazing! Definitely not a tourist trap. Altho we did get lucky because there was a visiting artist in town and he was stunningly good - excellent footwork, rhythm and that passion! The energy that was shared between musicians, the singer and the dancers was electric! They don't take tourist groups so it's all individual folks - mix of local and foreign tourists (it's the area I guess), since it is right next to the Catedral. Big tip: Arrive 15 mins earlier to line up, and try to get a seat in the aisle for a good unblocked view of the stage. They sell bottled and tinned drinks for 2-3 Euros, show goes for an hour. Definitely recommend if you're looking for the real deal.

This is an intimate venue for flamenco. The place is packed. Alejandra is an exceptionally skilled and beautiful dancer, her male partner is very good too. The guitarist and the singer are competent enough. However, I can only score the show 4 out of 5 stars because the stage is too low, making it impossible for the back rows to see the dancers’ feet which are amazing when they dance. Cost for two, with senior discount: 32€.

Amazing evening! The most beautiful flamenco I have ever seen by far. Dance, music, singing, costumes - everything was just spectacular, wow!!! And the place itself is very cute: a small restaurant / bar where all the tables have good view. Will definitely come back once in Seville again. Highly recommend!!!

Unfortunately I cannot give more starts for the performance which I watched, at least it's not worth a price. At the time when I went to watch it I didn't had anything to compare with but the following day went to a free/pay what you think it's worth performance by other people in Plaza De Espana and I was blown away, so now I can compare two performances. Firstly the singer was absolutely new to this or with bad stage anxiety, he was singing well but body language was constantly showing how he is uncomfortable on the stage, constant straitening of his shirt all over performance not only showed his worries but also made public uncomfortable to watch, it just shows that he is new and that's fine as he needs to learn and build the confidence but obviously as tourist you might come only once to Seville so you want to watch strong performance. The guitarist was good, the male and female dancers were fine, but overall performance lacked passion shown as a performers rather I came, done my part and gone, there was no contact with public at all, weather in other performance which I watched and liked it just everything was for the public, great connection. Art is art, everyone entitled to the oppinion but next time I would rather just go to Placa De Espana and enjoy variety of performers to choose from and pay what you think is worth.
