The workshop was very well facilitated. From the very beginning, the instructor made a genuine effort to create an informal, relaxed, and welcoming atmosphere, allowing everyone to feel comfortable and engaged. I would also like to highlight the way the history of flamenco was introduced. Rather than presenting it in a heavy or overly theoretical way, the instructor explained its origins in an engaging and accessible manner, helping us understand both the roots of flamenco and the meaning behind its movements. The practical component was equally well designed, with a gradual progression that made the learning process enjoyable, accessible, and fun. Overall, it was an excellent workshop—very well delivered and a truly enriching experience.

While travelling in Malaga, Spain for just one day, we made the time for Juan's flamenco class and so glad we did! What a fun experience, learning both the history of Flamenco and the basic music and dance steps we all had a ball! Highly recommended! Juan was so engaging and a great teacher! Ole!!!

This was a tremendously fun and very informative course prior to what promises to be an outstanding show with tapas and a glass of Spanish wine or beer. We learned much about the history of flamenco, the beats and styles, then practiced all these elements as a group. Full of laughter and Ole-s!

The class was super fun, we enjoyed it so much. Juan is great teacher, he is so welcoming, making jokes, great dancer and also singer and represented the whole Flamenco experience in the greatest way.

I didn't know what to expect when I came for the first flamenco class. I saw some presentations and I was afraid that could be a bit boring. But it turned out to be the opposite! Presentations were very interactive, and showed differences between types of flamenco. And dont worry, there is also a time to dance:) Catarina is super nice and knowledgeable and it was a real pleasure to spend some time with her.

Today I went to an interactive experience of Flamenco near Muelle Uno. It was a unique and charming experience, a great way to learn about Flamenco, what it is, it’s history, the different types of Flamenco, a way to learn the basic steps of Flamenco, the different rhythms, music, singing, to learn about basic Flamenco cords on guitar. I never realised how complicated Flamenco is! It was a fascinating experience to learn of all the mixture of its origins in a fun and unique way. There has been no expenses spared in setting up this special experience, you will not be disappointed. There is a show daily at 1230 in the afternoon. A really different thing to do while you are in Málaga. Just step off your cruise or wherever you are in Malaga and Alegría Flamenco is right on your doorstep at Malaga Port, known as “Muelle Uno” The show lasts about 1hrs 30 mins. Unique experience, I learned the origin of flamenco, its songs, tap dancing from the hand of an expert flamenco dancer. I loved it and of course I'll be back!!!!!
