About the Show
Barcelona Guitar Trio & Flamenco Dance pays a beautiful tribute to Paco de Lucia, the world's most famous flamenco guitarist and composer. The project is part of the festival Maestros de la Guitarra Española y Flamenca. This elegant show has already won the love and recognition of Catalan and foreign audiences, as well as earning the highest critical acclaim.
The tribute to Paco de Lucia has been presented on the world's most magnificent stages, at the Emirates Palace in Abu Dhabi, the Seoul Arts Theater, the Tel Aviv Opera House, and the United Nations Headquarters in Paris, among others. In Barcelona, the project resides Real Círculo Artístico de Barcelona (within the historic Pignatelli Palace).
The show consists of the works of Paco de Lucia, Manuel de Falla, Federico Garcia Lorca and Chick Corea, performed by three famous guitar masters, Xavier Coll, Ali Arango and Luis Robisco. Their music creates a beautiful fusion with the dancing of one of the best flamenco dancers of this era, José Manuel Álvarez, and the result leaves no one indifferent.
