Tablao El Arenal

The food was good, the waiters were amazing, didn’t love the hostess. Be aware, the reservation is for a set time, mine was 7, it doesn’t say arrive an hour early until you receive confirmation, which I saved in my travel folder. Friday night, horrible traffic, we were driving, don’t! We had to park 20 minutes away after driving around for 20 minutes. Finally made it there, they almost didn’t open the door, we were 20 minutes late. The hostess wasn’t pleased, I think she was Brazilian. That line everyone else, I should’ve arrived an hour earlier. She finally offered us the option to come in reminding us we had to be out by 8 for the next show, which I understood, but was asked if I was actually having dinner (I paid for it). All in all, I do think it’s worth it. As I left, I mentioned it would be nice if it was more clear when booking and she was like, the rest made it in time to which my reply was, lady, it’s not possible this has only happened to me!!

This was such a great experience. We did the tapas and show. The food was great and drink service was quick. As we had a few drinks they were extra but service for them plus check was very quick. We kind of went in blind to flamenco dancing and walked so impressed! The singers and guitar were great. The performers were very passionate and artistic. Loved every second! Would absolutely go here again if we come back to Sevilla.

It was a really good experience! We absolutely adored the guitar and the atmosphere. The clicking and rhythm of the show and dancers was very impressive. The venue seemed to be an older tavern and felt a bit humid but was comfortable. We went for the drink and show option and were sitting at a table with 4 other people. Definitely a must to do in Sevilla !

We bought this dinner cum performance bundle in advance. Once we sat down at 6, the foods were served. The starter and appetiser were quite good, especially the fried hake fish cube and fried vege. But the main was mediocre. I ordered the tenderloin medium. The meat was rather chewy and dry. Double thumbs up for the performance. It lasted 1 hour and was really intense and heart throbbing. 5 stars for the performance and 3 for the food.

Great show, the dancers were intense. We sat in the front and had splinters from the stage on our table at the end of the night! Food and wine are good. The entertainers are amazing!

Fantastic show! The artists were all incredibly talented and their passion and skill was awesome. You can’t take photos during the performance, which I was hoping to, though this means you can really fully enjoy the unmissable performances. I didn’t dine, but just went for the show and was seated right in front of the stage which was incredible. A visit to Seville wouldn’t be complete without seeing a “proper” flamenco show and Tablao Flamenco El Arenal is one of if not the best.

Fantastic show with choices of tapas or dinner set. We both loved the performance of the older diva. Photos and videos of the shows are not allowed.

An amazing experience. The food was wonderful, we opted for the A la carte menu and it was full of great choices of delicious food. I opted for the selection of roasted vegetables and steak which was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dessert, which I can’t remember the name of, was also a great hit, it was somewhat like a cheesecake. The service was brilliant, they were attentive, polite and efficient. As for the flamenco show, also amazing. The dancers were excellent, and the musicians and singers too. Absolutely brilliant! I recommend this place, not only for its wonderful food and show but also its ambience and pleasant atmosphere.

The food was alot better than what we were expecting. Everything we ate was delicious. The service was excellent. Now to the show. It was amazing. The dancers, you can see in their faces they enjoyed dancing. It was intense, and very powerful, you can almost feel every stomp. I would highly recommend going and getting the show with the dinner package, it is very well worth it.

If you want dinner, you will have to be there 1 hour and 15 mins before, very sharp! Otherwise you will not have any. 100 % recommended!

Exceptional. This was truly an outstanding experience, and I would strongly recommend going when visiting seville. The 3 course was delicious, lots of variety, the food came out quickly and hot. We had a choice of wine, sangria or beer. The show will start after dinner, and will last for 1 hour. The talent, the emotion and the atmosphere. I had the most amazing evening. Thank you

Very enjoyable dinner and Flamenco show. The room is crowded and old. The food was much better than I expected. You are given hors d'oeuvres and an aperitif while you select your starter, entree and dessert. There are about 6 options for starters and entrees. The beef tenderloin was flavorful but does come well done. The salmon was tasty but not hot. Starters and desserts were very good, and each person had a choice of wine. If there are 2 people and one wants red and the other white, you get both bottles of wine, but it is shared if you are at a table for 4. The show starts at dessert and lasts an hour. No pictures during the show due to flashes and protecting the dancers but it was very fun to watch and even my 20 year old loved it. It may not be as enjoyable to the younger crowd but everyone in the room seemed to have fun.

Exceptional. Went with family and had an amazing experience. Excellent dinner with appetizers, starters, mains and dessert! Come hungry. Wine included too... Then the show which was fantastic! So much passion and energy it brought tears to our eyes. You should not miss this experience! 💃🏽🕺🏽 So happy they don’t allow pictures and filming. You have to see it for real. Thanks to the artists.

Bought the dinner + show tickets online. We showed up early and we were seated at 1740. The food was incredible, the service was fast and efficient and the show was enchanting. You get a set appetizer, but choose your first/second course and dessert. Highly recommend!

Great show! The dancers, singers, and guitar player are excellent. The costumes and the dancing was so expressive. I would recommend going for the show + tapas. You'll get better seats and the tapas are really good. We went on a weekday and during low season and sat really close to the stage.

The show was really good - there were various parts to the show which we really enjoyed. The tapas beforehand were delicious - it was almost too much food for me. The reason I gave it 4 stars is because we got there early and there was a seating before us. However it was raining outside so I wasn’t great standing outside in the rain. Knowing that seating was to be punctual at 8:30 would have been useful information

Very expensive. Must be on the "list" to get tourists in. As highly recommended by the Tourist Information. Service was quick and efficient. The food was delicious. Dancers were great, but all very staged. You weren't able to take photos or videos. Was an expensive experience. Probably worthwhile looking for a local bar who did Flamenco....

My wife and I really enjoyed this show when we were in Seville. Would highly recommend a Flamenco performance for any first timers to Spain. Dancers and vocalists were great. Very entertaining and authentic demonstration by the entire cast. Buy tickets ahead of time, as the shows sell out quickly.

Good performance. A bit noisy from heel tapping during the show. Ticket is more expensive than other organizers. No Parking space nearby.

We were recommended this place by a local friend, and it did not disappoint at ALL. We opted for the full dinner, and it’s a good thing we did because the food was AMAZING. So so so delicious. (Pictured is the appetizer!) the wait staff was working very hard and did a great job. Everything was timed perfectly. The bottle of red was 10/10. The champagne to finish was a nice touch. For the second plate, I chose the salmon avocado mix and it was so delicious- I recommend! All of the performers were superb, but we especially enjoyed the male dancer! We loved his energy and his style. Arrive early for the line just to get as close to the stage as possible! We were towards the back and still had a great view though. I respect the “no camera” policy. Put your phone down, enjoy the beauty. Nothing ruins a show more than being blocked by others phones. It was 100% worth the price of a full dinner and show. So happy we got to experience something so special and traditional.

This show is located on a quiet street away from the busier areas, but it is very well lit, and you can't miss the well marked entrance. There is no seating plan, so the earlier you get to the door before your time, the better the seat. Doors open exactly at the time specified, and there will be a lineup on the sidewalk. They are quick to seat people and be prepared to quickly decide what choices you want. You get a bottle of wine per two people, or sangria, or non-alcoholic drinks. There is an aperitif (no choice of drink) and water. There is a taster before the meal arrives - again, no choice, just a small mix of each type. You pick the appetizer, main and dessert for each person. After that, the items come out in quick succession after each plate is finished. The show is amazing - four 15-minute shows to fill the hour. The music, singing and dancing was top-notch. There really isn't a bad seat in the place, although a pole or two may block your view for a moment. I highly recommend this dinner and show. The meal was very good, and as mentioned, you'll love the show. Thanks.

We enjoyed a lot, food was amazing, and the show was incredible - the dancers and singers really passed their emotions, pain, history and passion thru their performance to us. It was really incredible for the price we paid. We took a dinner with flamenco show, the menu was a set menu (you need to chose the main course, starters and deserts), everything was a lot, including drinks (they brought full bottle of wine for 2 people). Each meal was very tasty, well presented and well served.

What a great experience!! Amazing food and staff. Get the pork dish. The swine is fine!! Then the flamenco show was even better. Worth the stop when in Spain.

We got the VIP seats which includes tapas and a drink, both very good and worth the slightly more expensive ticket. The show it’s self was incredible. The dancers, singers and guitarist are amazing and absolutely recommend going to see for anyone visiting Seville. A couple negatives: the tables were very small so a bit difficult to sit with food and drink. Our tickets were VIP so we got front row which actually was slightly too close. Would’ve been better in 2nd or 3rd row.

Such a fantastic experience and the food was great too. I would recommend it too everyone that is able too afford it, as it isn't cheap but definitely worth every cent. Incomparable with the free shows that you can see at plaza España or other tourist attractions

we were thrilled. The location is in a small alley and turns out to be a very cozy establishment. It is very nicely decorated and you receive a very friendly welcome. the waiters are extremely nice and serve extremely good food. There are 2 different menus, one tapas and one full meal. We decided on the 4 course menu including drinks and a show. and were not disappointed. The food was very good, as was the wine and we also got an extra glass after the bottle was empty. The show was a very emotionally powerful performance with wonderful dance, guitar and 2 singers. We were absolutely thrilled and would visit and recommend it again and again.

The ambiance, food, staff, and dancers were all absolutely amazing! Plus the fact that it's a much more intimate setting than you would find in a larger theater. Recommend arriving 30 minutes prior to your scheduled time for even better seats!

The dancers were amazing but it felt like you couldn't order another beer when they had started which was a bit of a shame. I did attend solo so I was paired at a table with a small family and another person on their own. It didn't seem like they had small tables here which is certainly something to consider.

Fantastic show but I’d skip the optional meal as it wasn’t all that. All the sauces were from packets and nothing was good. The service was rushed, as soon as u had finished one they could not wait to give you the next. We booked the whole package/inc food at €60+per person. Only got one free glass of wine ( said a bottle ) so had to pay for extra wine/drinks. The actual show was excellent, just a shame the dining side wasn’t.

The performance was great! Would definitely recommend. Our tapas dinner experience was booked for 8:30. I assumed the dinner and show would be in parallel but FYI they serve dinner first and then the show starts an hour later and runs for 75 minutes so you finish around 10:45. Food was average but service was hospitable and the sangria was great! Show was wonderful- the room isn’t huge so there were only about 40-50 tourists which made the experience feel more intimate. Dancers and singers were very talented.

Show was amazing. Talented group of performers. What I enjoyed the most, was that despite what I'm sure was their 10000th performance, they appeared to still be enjoying themselves on stage...and that carried over to the audience! No pics allowed!

The place propose an authentic flamenco show that was honestly impressive. We could feel the emotions through the danse. The food served was pretty tasty. The chairs are quite bad for the back. And we are a bit disappointed that the show was barely 1hour.

Our second flamenco show in Southern Spain, our first in Seville. When I checked into my hotel and asked them to recommend a flamenco show they quickly booked us a front row table at the Tablao el Arenal. I arrived a few minutes early and spoke to the hostess to make sure we had the table reserved and to ask if I could photograph the show as I did the previous show in Jerez. Sadly, and I feel to their detriment, they do not allow photos or video during the show. I respected that decision and asked if I could take a few photos before the show. That is what you will see in this review. The room was large and the tables nicely set. The staff were formally dressed and the stage larger than the other show I saw. That show was more intimate in a small tavern. The show included a drink and some tapas. I was actually surprised at the number of dishes we got. The food was very good and the servers pleasant and polite. The show itself was excellent. As I said earlier, the no photo policy is a big negative for several reasons. One being that if you are on vacation and see such a great show you have no image memories to take back with you. You might as well see a flamenco show on TV. The other reason is that I think if people were to post their experience online with photos, they would get more people wanting to come. Seville has many other flamenco shows so there is certainly competition. The reason given for not allowing photos or video was to “protect’ the performers rights. These are not famous world class performers whose images and videos of their performances would damage their careers. In fact, I believe it would increase their exposure and their careers. So, if you don’t care to have a photographic memory of your experience it’s a good show to see.

As many chances to take photos of the exquisite flamenco are forbidden, all I can offer is this: If you're looking for a taste of Spanish music and dance, then you owe it to yourself to catch an authentic flamenco show. The precision, sensuality, intensity, and craft involved are absolutely amazing. It's a spectacle accompanied by delicious food, drink, and service.

The show was great - authentic and passionate. The tapas meal was fine and we got better seats by being there for it, but we probably would have had a better dinner elsewhere. Also, the chairs need cushions - they are rush seated ladder back chairs.

Wow just incredible! Our hotel recommended this place for Flamenco and it was such an experience. We opted for the full menu which included 3 courses and a bottle of wine. Was very lucky to be seated at the front of the stage to get the full experience! The guitarist was amazing, mesmerising! And the dancers were incredible. Overall 10/10! A night will will remember forever.

Fabulous food, fabulous entertainment, what more can I say? 10 out of 10 all round. Service was farst, efficient and our server, rueben, was excellent. We had the Tapas menu which was outstanding food and so plentiful we could barely finish it. The flamenco dancers were beautiful and amazing. I loved the singers and guitarist and they seemed happy to perform for a very appreciative audience. Very highly recommended.

The Tapas menu was excellent. A lot of food and very delicious. The venue is intimate and all seats are close to the stage. The performance was very enjoyable and the dancers were passionate in their art. We enjoyed ourselves.
