Unforgettable experience - we booked for about 15 euros a person on Viator and we loved every minute. The performers were simply incredible! Only point of contention is that they charge extra for your first drink. I would recommend the bar changes this policy to make it a flat rate.

Highly recommend this place! It is an absolute must-see when visiting Madrid. “La Rubia’s” performance is full of passion and energy. Her presence on stage is incredible—every movement and facial expression shows how much she loves what she does. She gives her heart and soul to the performance and keeps the audience captivated from beginning to end. The entire experience was unforgettable and filled with joy. If you want to experience authentic flamenco at its finest, don’t miss this show!

We booked a Flamenco show, our first ever. We loved it! The dancers, the singer, the guitarist... everything was wonderful! The show lasted around 1 hour, with a 10-15 minute break. Tha place is nice. However, we thought the drinks were pricey (5€ for a soda????) and therefor the food not really worth it.

Absolutely fantastic. We saw three dancers plus the guitarist and singer. They were all excellent. The food here is amazing too. We reserved our seats about a week in advance but it wasn't necessary. The people seated next to us had just made their reservation in the afternoon.

Not a place that locals attend; just in a "local area," near the stadium. The performers are highly talented. The (freezing cold) venue with nice staff and performers talk in both Spanish and English. That aside, these are artists who have been honing their craft for decades, and it shows in the precision and passion. I loved how they watched one another perform with admiration. The vocalist moved me. It all synchronized. I would have enjoyed a couple dancing. This was my first flamenco show, so I don't have anything to compare it with. The price was right; can't say I would return. If you catch the start of a game on your way out, the hype and fake smoke is where local experience will be.

I would highly recommend anyone visiting Madrid to partake in the Flamenco Show, Dinner and Workshop at Taberna Flamenca El Cortijo.  Tired from a day of sightseeing, we declined to participate in the workshop part, so I cannot comment on it but I'm sure it would have been great based on everything else.  The tickets included the show as well as an appetizer, entree, and a drink per person...so there was no extra or hidden charges at the end.  We both started with the plate of Ibéricos (a delicious selection of local charcuterie).  My husband had the Calamari and I had the Tortillia Española-- both were delicious.  The real draw, though, is the show, which is by itself worth the full price of the ticket.  We saw a group of 4 Flamenco performers (including two from Sevillia).  All were supremely talented.  The guitarist was epic, flawless really.   The vocalist was an 18-year old (could not believe the pipes, control, and dexterity this kid had)!  Both dancers were extremely talented not only musically but as storytellers... moving at times with the lightness of a butterfly and at other times-- the zapateado felt and sounded like a pack of 10 horses galloping.  So exciting!  There were two sets with a short break in between (#costumechange).  This place is outside of the center of Madrid, but not by much.  It was extremely fast, safe, and inexpensive to take an Uber to and from the venue from our hotel in the Center (The Westin Palace).  Highly recommend!!!

¡Un espectáculo de flamenco con todas las letras y accesible en Madrid!💃 The passion and talent shown by the artists is very inspiring and powerful. You can feel their love for what they do. It consists in almost 1 and a half hour of flamenco show with one small break in between. Friendly staff, typical decoration and some options of food, but not many options unfortunately. Anyway, I believe it’s a recommended alternative if you want real flamenco in Madrid for an affordable price and avoiding the most touristic (and expensive) centric locations. Only 10 min by cab from the center, so it’s worth it if you are looking for good quality and affordable flamenco. Huge thank you to Sara Ramos, the incredible flamenco artist, who very kindly took a picture with my mum after the show💃 Hidden gem in Vallecas!

More spacious than other Flamenco venues, and with well portioned food. The tortilla serves two easily. The only downside is the "hidden" entrance. We spent 20min trying to find it. Google maps takes you to the wrong place. The actual entrance is right by a restaurant by the sidewalk.

Good place to watch Flamenco! They teach you a bit in the starting. Cheerful people. Also speaks English. Good food and good vibes.

Our family had a wonderful experience here! We booked a workshop + show + dinner via Viator/Visit A City and had a blast! Very easy to get to. Straight shot on line 1 metro from the train station right to the area and then a 1 min walk. What we loved was how intimate and personal the experience was. The workshop helped us really understand the culture and musicality and history of flamenco. We learned so much and got to try it ourselves! So fun! My only regret was not dancing more with my daughters on stage during the workshop! The dancers and musicians were incredible. Truly have a passion for their art. It was an immersive experience and one I will recommend again and again! A highlight of our trip to Madrid!

Tickets and website all say in English and Spanish that showtime is at 20:30, and absolutely no mention of opening hours. We arrived at around 20:10 and the show started at 21:20. In the middle they said "now a 5 minute break". We would have left if we knew it was going to take more than 15... Wife was able to join the workshop, which would have been a waste of money as there is zero dancing involved - it was just a lecture and demonstration, not a workshop. Would give 4 or 5 for the actual show, but sadly everything surrounding it makes it hard to enjoy or plan an evening around it.

The ticket said that the show time is at 8:30 PM. We arrived a good time before only to find out that the show time is actually at 9 PM. Explanation is that they are waiting for the locals to arrive. There was an option to attend a workshop where you were supposed to learn basic flamenco steps and rhythms. I enjoy dancing as a hobby so of course I was excited. Turns out it was a 30 minute lecture about flamenco, where we didn't dance one single step but did one rhythm... The show didn't start at 9 PM, instead it started at 9:20 PM after I went to ask the restaurant staff for the actual schedule. Two local groups arrived after the show had already started. The show itself is good but I saw two groups of people leave in the middle of it. It's frustrating when there isn't a clear schedule but you are expected to wait for an unknown amount of time and the workshop isn't what was promised. We didn't order any food but paid attention to how the waitress was tossing the plates to the table without a smile. Bad customer service. I wouldn't recommend this venue to anyone. Timetables can't be trusted.

Ok, if you want to see an authentic flamenco show, you need to come here. They host really talented artists while managing to keep the prices accessible for everybody. The staff is friendly and the general vibe of the place is welcoming, inclusive, and fun. Really easy to get there by metro. And they also have classes! 100% would recommend.

Good show, but I couldn't eat 2 out of 3 courses. If you want to see flamenco just get the drink.
