La Milonga Tablao

My girlfriend and I randomly stumbled upon this establishment while roaming the streets of Sevilla. We were interested in catching a Flamenco show and booked tickets 1 night in advance. Needless to say, this is a hidden gem and was amazing. The service was quick and very hospitable. We purchased the ticket + tapa + drink option for 30€. The performers did a fantastic job and honestly blew us away. Keep in mind that the establishment is very small and fits about 30 or so people so it does get a bit warm. Overall the food was great, the drinks were great, the music was great, and the performers were amazing! Highly recommend this spot! 10/10

I really wanted to experience a flamenco show without feeling like I was in a tourist trap. We happened to stumble across this one while walking and decided to try it. It turned out to be a great decision. The performers were so talented. Since it’s a small venue, the performance also felt intimate. We did have a small issue when they had to change the time of our reservation, but the staff was accommodating. The only downside was that the small space felt overly crowded.

An unforgettable evening at La Milonga Tablao! We were completely captivated from the first note to the final stomp. The performers poured heart and soul into every moment — the passion, the precision, the raw emotion… it was spellbinding. The venue itself is intimate and atmospheric, creating a perfect connection between the artists and audience. You don’t just watch flamenco here — you feel it. The guitar work was phenomenal, the singing deeply moving and the dancing? Simply electrifying. You could feel the floor tremble with every zapateado. If you’re in Seville and want an authentic, soul-stirring flamenco experience, La Milonga Tablao is a must. A beautiful celebration of Andalusian culture — we left with goosebumps and full hearts. Highly recommended !

Absolutely great show. Went into it not expecting much and left with tears in my eyes. So much passion in the musicians and dancer. Must see show for a good deal if you’re in Seville

Fantastic intimate experience. It's a small venue so no matter where you are seated you are close to the performers. The dancer and vocolist were excellent but it was the female guitarist who blew us away. Such an emotional prefomance and the sounds of heels banging on the floor reverberated around the room. They provide a glass of sangria with the standard ticket and the kids got a soft drink included as well. If you only get to one flamenco performance make sure it is this one, you will not be disapointed!

It's a charming place with a cosy atmosphere and caring staff. We absolutely enjoyed every moment of the show. The guitar playing, singing and dancing were really imaginative and artistic but at the same time convincing and sincere! The tapas and drinks just added to the whole impression. Highly recommend this place to anyone interested in Spanish culture.

This was an absolutely wonderful experience. We wanted to see a flamenco show but weren't interested in anything that catered to tourists or was too flashy. This is a really small venue...only about 30 seats! But they have a couple of drinks and a couple of tapas options and you can get hose included with your ticket if you want or not if you don't. The show was wonderful...extremely talented performers. This feels like they're doing the show just for you. A fantastic night out!

We were delighted by the evening, the performance and tapas. The dancer went all out with her passion. I didn't understand a thing, but definitely felt the tension and emotion boiling in both music and dance It is a tiny place, maybe twenty seats, bit crowded when full. You get front or second row seats if you ordered tapas, they bring it during the break on the middle of the show, so you have almost enough time to eat it and avoid munching before the artists 😄

Great performance. Forget the other shows, this place is truly fantastic.

Really good show and they put loads of effort into the performance. I wasn't sure about the idea of the show, thinking it'd be too much of a tourist trap... It is a bit, and you can see flamenco elsewhere in more authentic ways. But, this is great.

Don’t miss this! We absolutely loved everything about this show. The venue is small and intimate. The performance of all three performers (guitarist, singer, dancer) was excellent and very moving. Can’t recommend this highly enough. We visited on Sunday 6 October.

Update: I wrote this stellar review back when La Milonga Tablao was just getting started. I visited again last month (Sep 2024) and my feelings have definitely changed. I recommend seeing a performance elsewhere, as it is apparent that money is now the driving factor for this venue. We were packed in like sardines - seated in the small bar area at the back of the building on bar stools with no back (for an hour long performance), with tables set far too low to reach your food and beverage. We were literally crammed elbow to elbow/knee to knee with other patrons. I would have preferred to be told the show was sold out than to spend the entire hour uncomfortable. It was very unpleasant. The "ordering" process for choosing your tapas has changed and you now stand in a ridiculous line to tell the bartender what you choose to be served during the show, and the no photo/no recording rule is disregarded, so people around us had their phones up blocking the view of others throughout the entire performance. No one cared - the servers were busy on their own phones. The show was good and the women are extremely talented. It was NOT so great that I would go again with all of the discomfort and inefficiencies. _______ I was traveling solo and was given a front row seat. The show was amazing, the performers were so nice and engaging, and very talented. I had a ticket that includes a drink and two tapas. The food was delicious! I'm so glad I decided to book.

Jaw-dropping performances! La Milonga Tablao showcases the three elements flamenco (the dancing, the singing and the guitar) in a very intimate setting where you can see and feel every movement of the artists on stage. Just check my videos to see how close it can get (I was on the front row and absolutely loved it 😍). The place is rather small so book in advance on their site! Specially if you’re looking for a more authentic/less touristic show. One last reason to come: the tablao supports local talent by changing the performers every week or so, giving a place on the stage to several artists who want to share their passion for flamenco!

Such a great find! Spontaneously came across this place after drinks with a friend and it was so worth it. Intimate, small and a great show and friendly staff. Already recommended more friends who went too and loved it.

This was our first flamenco experience. The artists were great. The space is small, but it is air conditioned and was intimate in a positive way. We really enjoyed the experience and would recommend.

TLDR: good show but the space is completely packed and not the best airflow. We watched the 7:30 show and it was a great time. The ticket comes with a free beverage and I got a dry white wine and she got a sangria. We got seats in the back of the front section and we were all able to see. However the space is super tight and there wasn’t great air flow. The performance itself was fantastic and powerful, with a little dry humor added in.

I have seen many flamenco shows in Spain and this topped them all!! So intimate and inviting. Guitarist was amazing, singer was mesmerizing and the dancer enchanting. We would definitely go back and highly recommend it recommend going. A steal at the price!
