About the Show

Casa de la Memoria is a Flamenco Cultural Center situated in the city of Seville. The location is within the former carriage house of one of Seville's most well known monuments: the Palacio de Lebrija. The flamenco show "Tarde de Flamenco" takes place in a unique, intimate theatre with views of the typical central patio of the 16th century palatial home.

The show "Tarde de Flamenco" in Casa de la Memoria lasts approximately one hour and includes four artists: two dancers, a singer and guitarist. Many artists of the highest level perform at Casa de la Memoria: Pastora Galván (National Flamenco Dance Award), Asunción Pérez "Choni" (Giraldillo Bienal 2008), Adela and Rafael Campallo, "La Moneta", "El Choro" "(Revelación Festival de Jerez 2016 Award) or Manuela Ríos. Singers such as Jeromo Segura, winner of the "Lámpara Minera" 2013 at the prestigious "Festival de las Minas", Jesús Corbacho, Vicente Gelo and Ana Real. Guitarists include Pedro Sánchez, Raúl Cantizano, Manuel de la Luz and Tino van der Sman. Together they form one of the most important artistic casts of current flamenco.

As the Flamenco Cultural Center the Casa de la Memoria also organizes other activities, including flamenco exhibitions, which are part of the museum in the same building. As well in the store within Casa de la Memoria visitors can find gifts and objects related to the world of flamenco.

All anti-COVID security measures are in place and the venue has an air purifying machine with triple HEPA filter and hydrogen peroxide disinfection, which eliminates 99.9% of viruses and bacteria.

Reviews

Experiencing the traditional flamenco dance at Casa de la Memoria in Seville was nothing short of mesmerizing. The intimate setting of the venue provided the perfect backdrop for an evening of raw, unfiltered artistry. Each artist on stage was not only brilliant but exuded a palpable passion for their craft, which resonated deeply with the audience. The dancers were a force of nature, their movements a beautiful blend of grace and intensity. Their expressions conveyed a profound connection to the cultural roots of flamenco, drawing everyone into the emotional journey of each performance. The precision and energy in their footwork were awe-inspiring, leaving the audience in rapt admiration. The singing was equally captivating, with vocalists delivering powerful renditions that carried the soulful weight of flamenco's history and emotions. Their voices, filled with both melancholy and fervor, complemented the dance perfectly, creating a harmonious interplay between sound and movement. The guitar solo was another highlight of the evening. The guitarist's skillful play showcased intricate rhythms and melodies, demonstrating the complexity and beauty of flamenco music. Each note was played with such dexterity and passion that it felt like the guitar was singing its own story. Overall, Casa de la Memoria offered an authentic and unforgettable flamenco experience. The dedication and talent of the artists shone through every performance, making it a must-visit for anyone looking to immerse themselves in the heart and soul of Andalusian culture.
Thoroughly enjoyed this. The performers from singers, musicians to dancers were fantastic. The performers clearly love their art.
I’ve never seen a flamenco show so it was the first time and it was an amazing experience. The musician, the singers and dancers are very talented. The performance was so powerful, my heart was raising so fast. They are extremely charismatic. I highly recommend. It’s free seating so they recommended to arrive 30 minutes earlier we arrived a bit late but as it’s a small space so you will be able to enjoy the show wherever you’re seated.
That was a great show! Thank goodness I have picked this place. The artists were amazing talented! Just go, don’t hesitate!
Much passion in the performance! Come early to get good seats. Definitely recommend this place to experience a part of Andalucía culture.
The show was amazing, with great dancers and musicians. It is really a must to see a flamenco performance. It is a small place, but the atmosphere was impressive. We bought the tickets online, was around 19£ for adults, and 11£ for kids. If you go there to buy the tickets, they say the kids under 6 can't participate, but if you buy online, it's say that is not recommended. It is very loud and I wouldn't recommend going with babies or toddlers, but my daughter is 4 and half and she was amazed by the performance. I need to mention that the tickets don't have seats so if you go early you can sit wherever you want. I totally recommend this place! ❤️
