About the Show

What is now El Patio Sevillano began in 1952 when the owners founded "Cortijo el Guajiro". The owners brought to the stage many talented performers leading to further success. In its early days El Cortijo featured the young talents of Trini España, Matilde Coral, El Farruco, Manuela Vargas, and Rafael Negro. El Cortijo was often visited by famous toreros as well as artists, politicians and film stars.

In 1956 the location was moved to the heart of the city center in the Plaza del Duque where it continued to attract the highest level talents in the flamenco world, featuring performers such as Chano Lobato, Cristina Hoyos and Milagros Menjibar. For seventeen years the tablao flourished in the Plaza del Duque and in 1973 moved to its current location along the river to a new venue constructed specifically for flamenco performances. Today the location is surrounded by the most typical monuments and sights of Sevilla, including the Plaza de Toros and the Triana bridge.

The tablao continues to host many famous flamenco artists and is known for performances which feature a variety of flamenco styles as well as classical Spanish dance and music. For this, El Patio Sevillano maintains a long list of regular performers as well as hosting touring artists who travel through Spain on regular circuits.

Great experience. Only issue, in my opinion, is that customers with paid dinner should have been in front of stage rather than customers who just paid only to see performance. Food was good.
A true taste of a real spanish dance Art, please don't applaud she they are performing, you will destroy de try magic of the flamenco. Jus wait until they finish their sección of the performance and do to your health content, but not during, put you who aside and enjoy it.
I liked the show a lot. Dancers were amazing and really living the dancing. I had the dinner included. I chose clasic things like omelet with fish, pork... They were good. If I were to go again I would choose without dinner so that I do not miss from the show...
I would definitely recommend El Patio Sevillano. I've been living in Seville studying flamenco for almost a year but hadn't been here because it was more expensive. However, it had also been recommended, so I ended up going, and I'm so glad I did! It's more expensive because there are around 10 artists, more than in a normal show, and you get a drink included. It was very empty the day I went so I got front row seats, and I would recommend arriving early to get seats close to the stage. The dancing and music was at a high level, mesmerising to watch and listen to. The hour and a half passed quickly, as the dancing alternated between what I understand to be flamenco itself and Spanish classical dance - the flamenco to live guitar, and the classical to recorded music. Both very impressive, and I enjoyed the storyline in the classical piece to Bizet's Carmen. The staff were friendly and the setting beautiful. A great night and would definitely recommend!
Amazing show. Food was great and plenty, servers were polite, and the performers were incredible. So much passion y ritmo in just an hour and a half. Might seem expensive, but you're not paying for one performer. You're paying for a dozen, and it was well worth it. 10/10, would recommend to everyone and go back myself. Thank you.
Amazing traditional flamenco show, great dancers and guitarists. If ever visiting Sevilla worth a visit for watching these amazing performers. For a 38 euro ticket you get a free drink, but you can choose more expensive tickets that offers free tapas or dinner.
