On our recent travel to Spain my wife and I visited 4 flamenco shows. This was by far my favourite. The following day we did a walking tour of the area and learned the history of the community and I understood why I felt that way. I am not going to provide a spoiler, all I am saying is that if you are in Granada for a few days this is well worth the effort.

never seen a flamenco show before and this blew me away. a must see if you’re going to Granada. musicians and dancers were phenomenal. would definitely recommend also doing the Gypsy caves tour up the street beforehand to get a cultural/historical context for the show.

Memorable and Authentic Flamenco Night Our evening at Los Tarantos was one of the highlights of our time in Granada. Despite some difficulty with phone communication, they kindly let us move our reservation to the next day. On arrival, we weren’t on the list, but the staff handled it well and found space for us without issue. The show itself was powerful and full of emotion – the dancers were intense and expressive, and the live music was deeply engaging. The small cave setting adds a unique and intimate feel to the whole experience. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and a performance that truly captures the spirit of flamenco. Highly recommended for anyone looking for something genuine in Granada.

When passion meets performance, a perfect display of zambra. Amazing performance by the artists. They themselves were enjoying while performing, and this added more beauty to the dance The place is cozy and well lit.

the music is very loud, the food could be better and nobody in the staff will be so extra (and uselessly) kind to provide a high-end service to you, but this is what the real and raw flamenco experience is. and it was extremely enchanting and so intimate, i was moved by the performances

The flamenco dancers and musicians were incredible. They had incredible synergy and skill. Note to future guests - please please put your phones and cameras away! Just enjoy the fabulous show, you probably want an authentic experience but then you ruin it by obsessing over your technology! The artists deserve your entire attention, not your probing lenses. It also is incredibly distracting for the rest of us guests.

We made our reservation through their website in a simple and trouble-free manner. When we arrived at the show, the reception was excellent: a very friendly girl attended to us, as did the waiters, who were attentive at all times. The show started in spectacular fashion, managing to excite us to the point of giving us goosebumps. However, the experience was marred when a spontaneous member of the audience, visibly intoxicated, burst onto the stage and spent 20 minutes wandering around pointlessly, taking away from the seriousness and professionalism of the show. The reaction of the real artists said it all: discomfort and frustration in the face of a situation that bordered on the absurd. It is a shame that a place as special as Cuevas Los Tarantos is affected by this type of incident. Therefore, we urge the organization to prevent this from happening again, since it tarnishes the efforts of true professionals. I am not leaving my five stars only because of this unfortunate episode.

Very authentic performance, skillful and emotional. Lasts about an hour, with some flamenco guitar in break. Up close....less than 0.5m away. Great experience.

This was a lovely experience! I had a glass of wine with the show and got to sit right in front of the performers. I would go to one of their shows again! I'd probably take a taxi next time as the hill to get there almost killed me.

A Night to Remember at Crevasse Los Tarantos The flamenco performance at Crevasse Los Tarantos was absolutely mesmerizing. All three dancers were exceptional, but the older, more experienced dancer stole the show. Their passion, precision, and storytelling through movement left the audience in awe. To top it off, the food was equally impressive, perfectly complementing the unforgettable performance. Highly recommended!

This was one of our best experiences while in Granada! We chose to have dinner there as well as enjoy the dancing. Both the food and performance were outstanding! Whoever cooked made incredibly tasty food. The dancers and the musicians were superb! I highly recommend it! PS The venue was cozy and intimate.

Loved our experience here! Having never seen Flamenco before I didn’t know what to expect - but we thoroughly enjoyed it. It was an immersive experience, just the right length and the dancers were all talented in different ways. Recommended on a visit to Granada!

The flamenco performance was truly captivating! The crew was incredibly charismatic, and the chemistry among them was amazing, making the experience even more engaging. Laura was undoubtedly the star of the show, delivering a performance full of passion and grace. The setting in the cave created a very intimate atmosphere, allowing the audience to feel as if they were face-to-face with the performers, adding to the authenticity of the experience.

Not that good show, very tiny place, surely there are better places to watch Flamenco

Awful flamenco show. We saw better shows in Seville for free. The sound quailty was awful, no need for a speaker in a room this small! Sound was so loud you could barely hear the flamenco tap. The older lady in the performance was especially a let down! There was a lack of passion from the dancers and the staff generally did not feel welcoming or hospitable. This venue would only be acceptable by a tourist with no exposure to flamenco previously. Save your money and go to a different venue.

Great show and dinner was also good. Enjoyable show although a little packed into a small space.

Would recommend: - get there early and pick your seats, if you want a really close up view sit anywhere infront of the performers (on the boarded floor). You will practically be getting a private show. - there are lots of restaurants nearby so you don’t need to worry about getting the meal at the restaurant - the show has a short break in between, so approx 30 mins followed by a break and a final 30 mins

This is a small place and the dancers might just be close to you. Don't moan about uncomfortable chairs, the performers sit on ones that are the same. Instead, focus on the music and the dancing. This is much better than a theatre because it is more intimate. I have been here twice, the first time was one year ago and I loved both times. Enjoy the passion and embrace the flamenco culture.

I have attended an early show, at 7:00pm. I understand the narrow and small space. (The show is held in the cave bar) But the chairs are uncomfortable and old. I have watched 2 teams of performance. A few were good.

The show was wonderful and very different from what I've experienced so far! It's set in a cave and feels a lot more intimate. There were different dancers each time, and you get to experience the uniqueness each one brings.

I have limited experience with flamingo, so my judgement is subjective. The performance was intense and passionate. The venue is small so you are very close to the performance. Impressive. A side note, we had the dinner. The service was good, food was average, but the pork was very tasty.

If you want to see flamenco dancers, this is definitely the place. The musicians and dancers are simply amazing. Word of advice, don’t clap along with the dancers and turn off the flash on your cameras so you don’t distract them. Enjoy the show!

We walk uphill to get to the cave but you’ll probably do better taking a taxi. The place is kind of small and not fancy at all but feels genuine. We sat across the musicians, who were really good. There were two sets of performers (two dancers, 1 singer, 1 guitar player). We got one free drink each with our ticket (we chose Sangria). The show went a little over an hour.

We joined the show tonight after checking the reviews and we feel like we were at a different show that the others! What we have seen were four dancers who each “danced” for a couple of minutes and then in between there were long periods of guitar solo with a bit of singing. All dancers hardly shown anything - they just stomped a bit and sort of moved their hands, they either have no skill or cant be bothered to show it. It was super boring. Also, there was an old lady dancer who constantly kept walking away from the stage and looked super angry. At one point she also gossiped to some Spanish audience about some tourist/audience members in a nasty way. But the biggest issue was that there simply almost no dancing, no skill, no passion… just boredom.

You have to be there to feel it! Even though it's made for tourists, the artists are actually really good and the experience is unique!

We felt very welcome. The show and atmosphear is authentic. In a gipsy cave you will enjoy good flamenco, a drink or a dinner if you want . Highly reccomended!!!

This was my first experience of flamenco, so I'm not the best to judge. However, personally, I found it very entertaining. Guitar was excellent, and the one male and two female dancers were superb. It was almost frightening in a very good way.

Enjoyed it but not the best flamenco show I've seen (I've only seen 3... 1 other in Granada , 1 in Barcelona). Cave was good, authentic. Drink was nice. However the cave was not well set up for the show. We sat at one end... the wrong end😫 W could only see the face of one dancer , not the other 2 dancers, the singer or the guitarist. They did a short set, a long break then another set. Dancers, singer and guitarist were all great, but not on long enough and couldn't see them. A bit disappointed 😔

Absolutely moving! The passion and emotion of the performers was contagious. The setting is small and intimate. The cave venue seats about 30 people and the dancers are about 3 feet (1 meter) from you as they dance. This is a must see for anyone going to Granada.

Booked it via GetYourGuide and had a terrible experience. We were asked to sit in a far corner from where the views were terrible. Also, it had a huge table which made it almost impossible for people with short height to have a clear view. You can see the photos attached. They had some big tourist group and gave them the best seats despite us being in line way before them. Some of the tourists ended up also blocking the view as they tried to click photos which resulted in couple of us standing to just even have a glimpse of the performance. The Sangria was absolutely terrible and tasted as if the fruits used in it were rotten. All 6 of us left our glasses almost full on that aforementioned table. Having said that the Flamenco dance was spectacular, if only they focused on the customer experience verus being so commercially focused.

Maybe you will find something better. One of the flamenco dancer was old and very very rude with the spectators, the show per se wasn't too bad but definitely it was not worthy £25. The Sangria was basically just water and juice . Not recommended

The second dancers were ok, the first very bad, they deal with agencies and give them the Bbest places in la cueva for extra money!!! So if you reserve thru their Web site, be sûre that you will have bad seats. I don't recomand this cueva at all

Loved every second of their performance. Such a different and more emotional experience from other Flamenco shows we have seen in Andalucia.

Exactly what I wanted to experience. Raw real passionate performances that seem to be unstaged and authentic in the moment. Sangria was great. We loved this experience especially being in the caves where flamenco began. Thank you for your hard work in performing every night. I’m a massage therapist and just want to move to a Granada and start a business massaging flamenco dancers feet lol.

I spent two nights in Granada and was advised by a friend to not miss a Flamenco Show in Las Cuevas. I took a taxi after dinner to the hills over looking the city to Cuevas Los Tarantos. Since I already had eaten I chose not to take the dinner there, although the food looked great. There were two shows each night, so I chose the first performance. I ordered a beer and sat at a table with others there. The cueva is rather small, but that made for a more intimate setting. Guitar and singing filled the room as well as the rapid and staccato heel stomping of these talented dancers. I am so glad I heeded my friends advice to take in this performance.

Mediocre show at best. Tourist trap, more than authentic flamenco. Not true professionals, a family of people who dance surely. But they are not professionals and the show is low quality. But it is loud, coloured, and people accept it because they already bought a ticket or because they simply do not know the difference between something authentic and professional and some semblance of it.

Simple show, not as expected. I had the feeling of being in a tourist trap. A little guitar, a little dancing (not as good dancers as advertised), a long break in which the artists were smoking and quarreling with each other. I have seen noumerous flamenco show, dancers, guitarists. These were mediocre at best. Unfortunately.

A cute place to watch flamenco. The artists were talented and there was not a bad seat in the house. Combine it with a visit to the view from San Nicholas and you won’t be disappointed. The price was a little higher than shows in Sevilla and more disorganized. But a lovely show overall

This was the best part of our trip to Granada. I’ve seen flamenco before but nothing as moving as this. The music is was incredible and every dancer was engaging and passionate, each bringing a different characteristic to the performance. Absolutely stunning setting too — highly recommend!

The dancers were awesome, and seeing the show in a cave was so so cool. Me and my partner are on the younger side (mid twenties) and were a bit disappointed to see that the rest of the crowd was 60+. Nevertheless, was a great experience. But please please PLEASE do not get the meal with it. Absolute worst food I've had in my entire life. We have an agreement to never speak about it again.

Not worth the money (or any money). Singers and dancers were terrible. One of the dancers was so OK. (and ugly) she really couldn't lift her feet to dance. The other two were fat, ugly, with tired costumes. No attempt was made to engage with the audience. No explanation was given as to the meaning of the dances or songs (which were mainly wailing like a call to prayers only less melodic). The beer, all 7 oz's, was cold. €5 for another 7 oz's. The guitarist was ok. Overall, a rip-off and wholly disappointing experience. Europamundo is still "earning" its *- one star minus rating.

Cool show, a bit pricey and loud, bring ear protection.

A truly distinguished experience. I had been in Flamenco show in Sevilla, which was not even close to this. Authentic atmosphere in the cave, adding the professionalism of the dancers and musicians make it an unforgettable show. Tickets were €26 per person, including a drink. We went to 10:30 pm show, after having our dinner in another place, which, I believe, was a good decision.

Intimate setting for pulsating and throbbing flamenco. Two sets of four performers, including an old lady, all very skilled. Highly recommended. Admission is 30€ per person.

We went for a drinks+show ticket (second show of the night) and it was a nice experience. Seeing flamenco in a cave makes it more special and authentic. The guitarists were great. We were lucky enough to be in a not very crowded group. I would not eat there - you would go there to watch the show anyway, better to go eat before in one of the numerous proper restaurants in Granada.

What a wonderful show. It as so neat to see how the vibrations of the music caused the decorations on the wall to dance too. Definitely recommend. I wish I had booked through a guided service because despite arriving 20 minutes early (being the firsts to arrive for the show), my friends and I were not allowed to seat ourselves until after a large group arrived. They seemed to have some priority to have the better seats. We ended up in the very back with a decent, but not great view, and unable to all sit together. The ticket included a drink which was nice.

This was my second flamenco show but first in the Granada style which I understand is the birth place. The tight quarters add to the homey ambiance extenuating the performance.

Great performance. Was worried about getting a touristy show per some of the other reviews, but the performance I went to was the real deal (coming from a Flamenco enthusiast). The performers all had an electrifying chemistry together, and moments were jaw dropping in intensity.

Had an electrifying night at Cuevas Los Tarantos. With its live music, soulful singers, stellar guitarist and best of all, their extremely passionate and skillful dancers, you're in for a treat at the Cave if Tarantos. There was a standing ovation for the performance at the end of the show and we enjoyed ourselves so much.
